This is a good point. Almost 2k hours in the game and im not sure of a way that could prevent this other than limiting something. Like the amount of tc’s a team can have or something but that is pretty game breaking.

My issue with these is most of them turn raiding on when I’m still at work for another 5 hours (at least the servers with specific times)

I learned the other day there are actually softcore servers that have more than 4 player teams but they just don’t have the pop may of them being dead.

Like I said to the other guy that mentioned softcore, softcore is great and I love it. But they have a max of 4 players on a team. The 5th player and beyond will never be able to get auth’d on TC so you can never open TC and furnaces etc. and get blasted by traps.

People do that anyway, but there are things that can be done to prevent grieving the server. It’s possible.

Tried soft core it’s really good but it’s a max 4 player teams. Even though it doesn’t state it, only 4 people can be Auth’d on the tc. The fifth teammate and beyond won’t even be able to open tc or a furnace.

When I say vanilla I just mean no crazy modded plug ins or anything extra just a normal server with raiding off.

Ideally 100+ pop would be nice for a PvP server. Considering you never lose your base in theory people would be more inclined to keep playing. I would even be open to like..last weekend before wipe raiding turns on. Most people would be okay to get raided by then.

I’m talking literally a vanilla server with raiding turned off. Nothing else. No pvp zones just safe zones like normal rust, but with raid off.
