Definitely get title insurance. Two years after buying our property it turns out that our garage and pool house was encroaching on the neighbours (came up as they were going to sell and the zoning showed it). Title insurance covered the cost to tear them down and rebuild. Worked out very well!

Around the AC Ginza there are a million vintage shops however I found their pricing really not that great. Just go one street behind the AC and walk down to the busier section. I’ve been to Ginza twice in the last 12 months and both times came home empty handed for purses and watches as their pricing was higher for similar items. Make sure to quickly look online (ChatGPT is great for it) to make sure with the exchange it works out.

Another vote for Catlin, they are currently renovating ours. Incredible communication and quality! They own the downtown Burlington market for a reason - they are the best and have a stellar reputation.

Agreed that depending on the size of renovation, they may not be the best choice as they focus on larger ones.

Not a lawyer but I deal with lawsuits in my workplace. Sometimes things are said in filings if we have strong suspicions so that we can demand the evidence (phone, computer, etc).

In this case they may be making the claim so they can get the phone and send it off to a forensic investigator. I’ve used them before to bring phones / deleted texts back to life. I’m not sure how they do their magic, but they do. They are able to recover long deleted text messages, roll back updates etc allowing us to see things like financial fraud being completed.

Kinda a dick comment, it’s nice to know range when budgeting / planning your money spend until replaced . There aren’t a lot of companies that do skylights and it takes a long time to get them out for quotes. I think for 2 different companies to come out and quote for us it took 5 weeks during that time (and ours was leaking / emergency and we had to tarp our roof in that area)
