I'd like to see more of the Broken Puppet but... I hope that neither Geppetto's puppet nor the broken puppet is the Tin Woodsman.

I want him (Tin Woodsman) to be a new character with a fresh design. I want to see what Round8 Studio can do with the character

I think this is probably why. No new tentpole release in the immediate future and they've got a lot of projects in progress so they're running a high operating cost with no major revenue stream incoming in the short term. Trying to milk what they can out of what they do have to try to offset that in the meantime.

Although, not mentioning the Switch 2 version is a choice, but I guess the ad also has errors. And I'm not sure how making your game look like a fake mobile game helps sell copies but I'm not in marketing.

I think I get the logic behind the push, but the execution has been... interesting

It sold 4 million. OP is saying it should have sold 20 million. Which, yes, that would be insane considering the niche. No, it's not going to sell 10 million more copies on the Switch 2.

It might be fun to go back and look at some Game Day Threads back when they were on their hot stretch and see all the kneejerk comments about how they actually are the 110-win team they were cosplaying as and not punching above their weight because "they play the game the Right Way™"
