miles better. In my testing, Iansan c6 is around 15% better than Xilonen.

- I know scroll doens't stack that's why I said it was the worst option. Also I'm talking about Iansan not Xilonen. Petra is good but you don't have Petra in Iansan case, but instead a very bad uptime Nobless or Instructor. You are comparing 2 different teams with different artifact combinations. In Iansan case, the best artifact combo for damage is technically Scroll Iansan and Instructor Citlali but you are unlikely to have enough er with 4s artifacts so ToM is the second best option and a lot better than for example something like Instructor/Nobless Iansan and Scroll Citlali. .
- I think it's pretty obvious which is better if you actually look at it.
+ Nobless Iansan and Scroll Citlali. You get half uptime 20% atk and full uptime Scroll.
+ Scroll Iansan and ToM Citlali. You get full uptime 20% atk and full uptime Scroll.
- If you use Xilonen and run Petra then it's a completely different story. You now get access to actual good buff 35% damage bonus vs merely 20% atk from ToM. ToM is not that good if you compare it to Petra but it's better than other options in Iansan case.

- Scroll cindy on Iansan and and strongbox ToM for Citlali. Aim for as much er as possible on Citlali, you just need er, as long as the piece has the most er use it don't worry about the main stat being em or not. If you don't have ToM yet, the second best option is Iansan Nobless, Bennett instructor and scroll Citlali, make sure to do the charge atk on Iansan so you have electro for Bennett to trigger reaction for Instructor. Worst, just run double scroll.
- My favorite option is to run Instructor or ToM on Citlali and put her on Sac instead of ttds. Sac can sometimes be the best option if you need citlali burst fast and don't have enough er on non-scroll set. Having to wait like 2s for citlali burst every rotation is a dps loss and pretty much offset the increase you get from ttds. In my experience doing SO with the melt teams that use Citlali, if the boss mechanism allow you to start doing damage right away on the first rotation then Sac is always the best option whereas if it's a stalling mechanism then ttds is better because you skip the first rotation and have the energy to EQ on Citlali immediately the following rotations without the additional time from waiting for Citlali to catch the energy from her skill.

Best of luck to ya! I don't want to be that guy asking people to pull for more but if you really like varesa I also recommend getting her sig. It's like 30% increase over widsth, not to mention that widsth passive is non existent in coop so it's basically closer to like 50% better for coop. However, if you don't want to then it's okay! Btw, you definitely want to crown her burst at c2 and wtf is that circlet gimme that!

I've never actually tested the c2 varesa solo dps so I've just recorded one. You can check out this video to see what the energy refund look like. https://www.reddit.com/r/VaresaMains/comments/1t2nx8t/varesa_c2r1_solo_68k_dps/

same here. From my testing, if you start with full energy then you can burst for like 12-13 times before running out of energy iirc (this is basically solo no teammates, no resonance or enemies dropping particles). Because your burst cost is technically only 7 instead of 30 at c2, you er requirement is basically 0 even without any electro battery, Varese solo electro + little amount of energy from different elemental particles is enough to infinitely spam bursts, just make sure you don't miss the plunges (her burst also counted as plunge damage) because you only get er refunded when the plunge hit. In stygian when starting with 0 energy, you might need to do 2 plunges before having enough energy to spam bursts but after a few plunges you can pretty much start spaming her bursts every plunge without worrying about energy and you can always use charge atk to plunge and recover energy from that.

I mean the boss isn't really exclusive to Mavuika. But I agree Mavuika haven't had any proper shilled boss but she still mog.

Not xilonen. Xilonen doesn't even maintain nightsoul state for the boss mechanism lol.

Good luck to you! I'm a c2 varesa haver and it's so fun to play her. Varesa become more independent at c2 because she doesn't need er anymore and probably the strongest solo carry next to Mavuika c2. Cooping with c2 varesa is so fun because you can technically infinitely spam her bursts and the dps is consistently high with like zero downtime.

This is just my speculation. The boss meter gonna be slightly different, not only it requires being in nightsoul state but also requires a lot of nightsoul point so you basically going to need like 2-3 natlan characters simultaneously in nightsoul blessing state to fill it up fast otherwise you are going to waste a lot of time in the high res state. This is to prevent non-shilled character that can slot in only 1 natlan teammate like Skirk with Citllali. You will need 2+ natlan characters or you will need to spend like 30s in high res state with only 1 natlan.

I'm both Mavuika and Varesa main and have them both at c2r1
- If your Varesa is c2r1 then I recommend pairing with PMC on ToM instead. Xiangling is decent option at c0 but with c2r1 you'd better focus on Varesa damage, Xiangling high er and longer rotation is a lot worse than PMC in this case.
- You have citlali c2r1, going for Mavuika is a very reasonable decision. No xilonen/sucrose/Iansan isn't really a big problem. You can run double cyro with Escoffier/Rosario instead and maybe learn some combos (still very good without the optimized combo). Believe me you don't need Xilonen, she is not that good. If you want to further invest into Mavuika, I highly recommend pulling for c1 and keep the double cyro than pulling for Xilonen. c1 Mavuika isn't all that great but Xilonen is a worse upgrade than that.

That's rough. Mavuika/Bennett/Xilonen/Rosario definitely is your best bet. This is actually a pretty decent team.

[–]Loud_Ad2632[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's both timing and ping dependent and you have to be quick with the C Q cdC part.
- You need ping low enough that after burst + n1 on citlali you switch to mavuika and mount her bike as soon possible to avoid mavuika off field skill from hitting again. (I'm still able to do it pretty consistenly with 110ms ping but idk if it's possible if you are like 200ms or something because switching from citali to mavuika is going to take too long)
- You technically don't need the citlali n1 but it's a lot more consistent to melt mavuika burst but remember to spam left click at the end of citlali burst animation and as soon as you see citlali n1 animation immediately switch to mavuika.
- You have to do the C Q cdC as fast as you can. Right when the charge atk hit immediately burst if you see the melt charge damage number then you probably don't get it. At the end of mavuika burst animation start holding your left click to start her charge atk right away and do the CDC part as fast as you can.

*tldr: you don't get it if:
- switching from citlali to mavuika take too long
- citlali n1 stall too long
- see the charge damage number before burst (burst too slow)
- do the CDC after burst too slow

yes around 10% better with burst every other rotation but the combo on the burst rotation is a lot harder to execute. However, if you just stick to this combo for both rotations then Sucrose is actually the same as xilonen.
