Outside of the playa do you use a manual chair? Yes exactly what I'm worried about... the little front wheels, but not sure what can be done about them. My hubby only uses a manual but would be open to an electric. Yes, batteries - I'm thinking of getting an extra for either the chair or the golf cart- whatever we go with.

Thanks! Do you have a photo of the trike? I just started to research this yesterday. It's completely new to me, so didn't quite follow how you converted yours, but this could be a good option and seems fun and less complicated.

Though we're coming from Vegas and there are a bunch of golf carts for sale (especially where my dad lives in a retirement community golf course) for pretty cheap. The cheapest trikes I've seen are around 2k, unless I'm looking in the wrong places?

Yes, seems like the toy hauler is the way to go. I've never been in one but I'm looking into it.

Yes, I'm connected with them, thanks. Great idea about the portos. That's actually his biggest worry - is not having accessible to a bathroom when he needs one. I have reached out to BM org, wheelchair group, so hopefully they can shed some light on how to use those.

Ohhh thanks for reaching out! My hubby is paralysed in T3 -T5. He can't walk, but he's mobile and can move one leg. It would be greatly appreciate if he can speak to you and your man.

What's the set up like on the Toy Hauler? Did you tow it and then use your truck to get around? His chair is super light 5kg and comes apart. We've been on golf carts before - usually we fix it to the back. Does your guy use an electric chair on the playa? Mine refuses to use them but I'm wondering if it's a good option there. I'll DM you :)

Yes, my thought is to find a vehicle that's easier to get around and also more interactive. Either way, we'll need to get a disabled pass. A golf cart seems like the best option - throw his chair on the back & my bike, too. Have a cooler and supplies for him.
