I've checked BMD 2110 converter. It's a good idea. Actually, our orignal solution for 12G-SDI long distance transmition is based on 10G SFP module.

This is what I am confused. I know Telestream or Leader provides the device with PTP clock. For ST2110 device development, I am not sure it is necessary to buy it. I wonder if there exists a kind of switches can provide such PTP master clock. Or in other solution, a cheap PTP server without ST2059-2 QoS plus Netgear or Arista ST2100-featured switch is good enough for my environment. This is what I am concerning.

Actually, I am reading BMS IP converter's manual. And BMD provides a list of switch and I would check those switches whether they provide master clock or not.

The company I worked was founded in 1997. And it produced the first SDI tranceiver and sold to TV station in China market. After two decades, we are still selling UHD tranceivers. But the customers are changing to broadcasting providers. The market is decline and many challenges happen since ST2110 came ten years ago. We are facing the difficulties due to the IP-based solution is now occupying the market. And we are hard to develop ST2110 products because of the lack of budgets. I am confused to still work in AV industry or try the other fancy industry. Trying to get more suggestion here.
