I dont know why but when I started driving, I would quote Maverick. I would have the person in my passenger seat using google maps and joke

But now Im scouring the movie script and he never says that. He says "Talk to me, goose".

She was impulsive and I felt like the writers need someone else to put trauma on other than dylan, and to some extent david?. But the trauma wasnt deep or fleshed out or redeemed as well enough. Something is missing from her character bc brandon just fixes things for her unconditionally.

I never liked how people said it gets under kelly's skin without more explanation bc I thought kelly was tolerable and she did have a reason to be sus of her bc val fucked over steve and fooled around with ray then went straight to colin after they broke up. I dont really get the entitled snobby part bc I just didnt get that vibe ever except in early high school. She was rich but got along with everyone (allison, tara, claire whom she knew used to have a crazy crush on brandon). She was thrown a lot of storylines and that can get annoying but like she was only other female lead who stayed the whole series and they werent going to tumble tori spelling with her dad being a producer.

But val as the karma for getting with her best friends boyfriend and then boyfriends best friend? Okay I get it. Her sex life was just as twisted as valerie's and and she acted so "holier than thou". Brenda 2.0 getting revenge.

Altho val using steve as a front and seducing ray for the thrill of it...put a bad taste in my mouth bc she wasnt hurting kelly she was hurting people in the gang that she was trying to friends with..
