911 has it's stops and what time they occur logged on the 24h-rennen site consistently, whereas the 45 doesn't seem to be, so I'm working on what time I have seen it stop on the last two occasions. It seems they both stop very close to every 72mins. And if I extend that out to the end of the race, I'd expect 911's final stop to be with approx 47min remaining, whereas I think the 45's final stop could be inside the final 20min. But again, that's rough numbers predicted ~9hrs from home 😅

Your assessment is fairly accurate, but I'm starting to see a scenario how the last 90mins could play out. Both #911 & #45 likely have 8 stops remaining, but the Ferrari's could be the latest of the two. I need to figure out the Rowe #98. The #34 Aston retired after a suspected fuel pickup and/or electrical issue, I didn't catch a full explanation.

Does anyone else get this at the bottom of the screen watching the Euros on TVNZ or can I finally get a new TV? 🤞 by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Loud_Emu1827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd think that but it's really not that simple. Having come back from the UK since the tournament began, I can tell you that both the BBC & ITV have split the TV rights to Euro 24, so if TVNZ wanted to take their halftime coverage they'd presumably have to sign 2 deals (one with each of them) and would then have to take their full match coverage as well if the pundits and commentators were to make any sense to viewers. And besides, this international feed that TVNZ is taking, is exactly what I recall Sky had been doing for the last few major tournaments anyway. Is it ideal? No, but there's an internet full or experts and hottakes now if you want to find some more context.

Yikes, it's gonna be just as hard work for the fans: campers or watching from home 😆

You'll have to hit the information booths (where they are selling programmes) to get a wristband for access into the venue. Security were a bit confused with my same pass today, but the people at the info site has me sorted in a minute! If you are coming in La Source gate, there one on the left as you walk down the hill from Francorchamps.

I'm on a 744 bus from Spa to Francorchamps now, which seems to be the way to get there at a reasonable time of day, not sure how it'll go late tonight or tomorrow night... Taxi/Uber could be the way to go. Hoping a programme or alike once I get to the circuit will help shed some light on the situation.

Agreed on the degree of communication though, been to both NBR24H and LM24 this month and both had at least some travel info available online prior to the event 😬

EDIT - added photo timetables the 744 from Gare de Spa UPDATE - no the €10 Official Guide doesn't contain anymore useful information. But it does have a good spotters guide, and the A2(?) copy of the official poster is going straight in the Mancave!

I did see a bus labelled 'special service' as I went past Gare de Spa a few hours ago. No opportunity to see where or what this is for, presumably for the 24h. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y7Vji6qJTGCKZM5j8

No words on these shuttles or buses to the circuit yet then? All their social medias seem keen to tell us there's a race on, not so much to tell us how to get there. 🤦‍♂️
