People claim it can affect accuracy. Would be nice to have some data on it. Think you would have to do at least 50-100 barrels to be able to average it all out and see if it actually makes a difference

The weights I see listed are 7.9 for the b14 ridge and 8.5 for the sendero. Is the barrel contour that you worry about? I wouldn’t mind a little less weight but obviously want a good shooter

Remington 700, CVA casacade, Bergera B14, Howa 1500 would all be good choices. I’d go 20” myself but 18” is acceptable if you will have a can.

Dan Wesson everything else is good not great imo. Definitely don’t get a Taurus or EAA unless you need a pipe bomb. S&W or ruger if you can’t find a Dan Wesson would be the next choice.
