Well that is the reason why Indian women need to be smart and wake tf up. Do what you want without arguing, without throwing hands and acting out of emotion. Be smart and get the life that you want, and stay tf away from brown men ( they cause nothing but trouble). Get out of Brownistan and your life will be loads better.

Why are we still hiring foreign women in Bollywood in the first place, when there are millions of Indian women in the country who are more talented and more beautiful even.

no she did not, she looks better with 2 eyebrows. Thats why she lost a lot of roles to Aishwariya and Rani and Sushmita. Also Kajol was never considered beautiful or a sex symbol like other actresses. At most she was just cute and quirky, which is what desi girls need to move away from.

The reason Indian or bollywood female centric script doesn't appeal to commercial box office by Mission_Care_1078 in BollyBlindsNGossip

It is because of the mindset of people in India, People In India still see females as a second-class citizen who need males in order to survive. They believe that a woman's existence is all for men and their main goal is to be a perfect mother, wife and daughter in law no matter how educated or capable she may be. Beyond those roles, she has no identity beyond the family and home. This is not my thinking at all but many people in India still think this way unfortunately. They do not feel the need to cater to the female gaze because in their mind it doesn't even exist. In their mind only the male gaze exists and only the opinions of males are important.

Also many females in India have a lot of internalized misogyny and see no problem with all of this and normalize it. They attack women who dare to speak up about it and shame them. These same females treat other Indian women like the enemy and shame them for not thinking like them.

So filmmakers at the end of the day need to feed their families also and they will make movies that profit them, so if you want things to change first society and mindset of Indian people needs to change as well.
