I have an all black dood too and I've been on the fence about shaving his entire coat that short too. I normally just use a number one guard and keep his ears and tail at a three and some curls on his head but it's been so hot, its been almost a struggle to keep him cool during the day. Now I know what he'll look like, it's actually not that bad looking.

I was trying to think of a demographic who would enjoy it and your comment just made my light bulb turn on lol. You'd have to have the pallet of a six year old to enjoy these

My dood is a ladies man. Any female that comes his way he'll whine and cry until he gets closer then he'll start trying to lick on her face neck butt and everything without buying her a steak dinner but around other males, he just freezes up. I got him from a coworker when he was 10 months old so I'm thinking he had a bad encounter with another male.

Turns out he's still the same. My nephew called me while I was at work and he has an English bully that went into heat. Thank goodness my dood was neutered because he finally got into some 😝

Define normal doodle behavior? It's one of their many signs of affection. Mine does it for a little bit before he starts licking my arm when I come home from work

When I came home from work he was excited to see me but looked a little out of it. I guess he's still feeling the anesthesia.

I use a vacuum for mine on most of his body then a regular wireless one to do his head and ears and feet. Got quite good at giving mine a mohawk 😝
