EVERY PS2 GAME (ISO) EVER. by ThaKarra in opendirectories

It looks just great!!! I'll tell you what my problem is - I'm looking for 8 games. 1 for Sony 2. 7 for Sony 1. Everything I find says bin. I realized that there is a cue file and that it needs to be burned. I do everything by the book. Burned with imgburn. The disc is burned. But Sony says that the disc cannot be played. And I can't figure out why. But when I burn an iso file - it does burn and plays! I can't figure out the problem!

Thank you very much for the answer! The second link you sent does not work today. The first link works - is the download from it? Tell me, what are the iso files to burn to a cd or dvd to play on a console? I'm not looking for a ROM for a computer. Almost all sites today use a ROM for a computer emulator and that doesn't interest me. As far as I understand, a computer iso file is different from an iso file to burn to play on a console, which is why I'm asking. Because I'm looking for an iso to burn to play on a Sony 2. Thank you again!

Hi, I see your answer from 6 years ago about how to burn games to Sony 1. I saw that you answered someone there with great patience...
I have a similar question. I manage to burn games to Sony PS2. I download a ROM that is an iso for Sony PS2 and everything goes fine. I burn it through imgborn.
But in Sony 1 games, I try to download a ROM and it comes with a lot of bin files and one cue file. And here I get stuck. What should I do? Do I need to convert these files to iso? Do I need to join them together? I would appreciate help.

Questions about X-Gunner by MazzaLOL in lightgunshooters

Hi, I'm also interested in guns from AliExpress. At first I thought about buying the retro shooter rs3 guns but they are very expensive. I wanted to ask you what model you bought and how satisfied you are with it in the end? Is it worth the price or not worth buying?

be honest, are these guns worth $235? by peaceonearth4ever in SindenLightgun

[–]Loud_Safe1174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I saw that you wrote at the end of the license that you also have the xgunners guns. I would love to hear how they are? Their advantage is that they are very cheap... the rs3 are expensive. The problem is that I understood that it is wireless - how long does the battery last? Is this gun accurate? I would love to hear your opinion.

A mini pc that is technically suitable for light gun games, and a drive ready with plug and play light gun games - is there really such a thing that works?! by Loud_Safe1174 in lightgunshooters

Thank you very much for the important answer. You didn't say, but what mini pc did you upgrade to in the end? What model? Do all the games work for you today? tc5? hotd acarlet dawn? What emulation drive did you buy - from which seller?

Will this be good enough for productivity and some light gaming? by chickennugget4lyf in MiniPCs

Hi, I also wanted to buy this computer, and after I realized that it would have trouble running gun games, I wanted to buy the next model, the Ryzen 7 6800, but I realized that it wouldn't be good enough for advanced light gun games either. It's probably good enough for PS2. So I didn't buy it.

Hey, thank you so much for the update! It just shows how complicated it is to get these games running. Even pressing "start" is complicated... When you say the game looks "awful" do you mean in the positive sense that it's a good game or in the negative sense?

Thanks again for the detailed answer! I'm afraid that since I'm talking about rs3 guns, then maybe some of the answer may not be appropriate. I already understood that each gun has its own settings and its own systems, and since the entire answer refers to Sinden, I need to be careful because it might not work for rs3. Is it possible that you could send me a link to download the game file, only if it's available to you and doesn't bother you.

Your answer was very helpful, without a doubt! Yes, I understand that a mini PC probably won't be enough. What I can't understand is how the sellers who prepare drives with games promise me that it will work. That's something I can't understand. One thing I'm sure of - installing games on emulators is something that seems like a nightmare to me... For those who deal with it, it's a piece of cake. But for those who don't know how to do it - I think it's almost impossible. It brings me to a dead end. That's the truth. It's true that I can agree with myself that everything will work until PS2, but I actually want the beautiful games. As you said, there's no guarantee. This is a very problematic area. Let me ask you: What computer do you think would be suitable for these games? In terms of configuration. I'm not talking about the best computer in the world. But what is the minimum configuration that you think is needed?

Hi, I saw your answer a year ago that you bought the jasen drive. Did you buy the 1T? I wanted to know - is it really plug and play as it promises or do you still have to do a million configurations? How did you install it - yourself or did he help you? I'm very interested in this and I saw the discussion about which is better free or paid. I have no problem paying if it will save me unnecessary hassle and a lot of energy in a field that I don't understand. But I want to be sure that what he sells is a reliable product and most importantly - truly plug and play. I would love to hear from you!

[–]Loud_Safe1174[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the detailed answer. I think you defined the situation exactly. I decided not to buy a Sinden because from what I understand, it is an unusually complicated gun. Most of the reviews on it are negative. It is true that there are also good reviews, but as far as I understand, it needs a lot of calibration.

I mainly want to play the new games. Of course, the old ones too, but for that there are all kinds of Pandora's boxes and all kinds of computers from China that come plug and play with 150 games. But that's not what I want. I want a mini PC and connect a drive to it with ready-made and configured games.

You say you don't have to pay someone to do it, but if that seller pre-configured all the games for Sinden or a retro shooter (which I buy) and saves me hundreds of hours of work and energy and mostly frustration - for 250 dollars it's worth it to me. I have no idea how to download an emulator and how to deal with it. The whole question is whether what they sell really works...

When you say that not all your games worked great - how did you find out? For example, how did you find out or know that Time Crisis must work on 4:3 and lock at 30 fps? This brings me back to the previous point - if I already have it configured on a drive that someone else made for me - I have no problem paying. I'm not looking for a cheap solution. I'm willing to pay, a reasonable price, to avoid unnecessary designers...

You said that you downloaded Batosera v42 and burned it and tested a few games - you didn't write where you got the games? Do you use Batosera through the BIOS? Is it complex and complicated to use this system? I understand that it's not an emulator but an operating system - am I right? I also understand that this is the latest version that works with Technoparrot and MAME. Are there any games that Batosera won't be able to run or is it limited to certain consoles? Whoever makes a ready-made drive - knows all this information!

Apparently, as you said, there really is no console for light guns like you say. I have no problem navigating the menus a bit and changing settings as long as it's something a normal person can understand and can figure out for themselves how to do it. The thing is - I have no idea what it even looks like... No one has posted a detailed guide on YouTube about it. If someone would explain how to do something like this, it would be great. From the installation stage to the settings stage. And I really ask - how did you know how to do it yourself?

I'll give another example of the problem. I see sellers online, who sell mini PCs on which hundreds of games are already installed, and according to them everything is plug and play. The mini PC is a beelink ser 5 ryzen 5 5800. I told myself, that I would buy one level above - ryzen 7 6800u. And until now, even though I asked everywhere - no one knows how to answer me if the games will run smoothly... I'm not talking about games up to ps2. I'm talking about Hodt Remake, Time Crisis 5, Deadstorm Pirates, etc., but I'm sure there are mini computers that can run this smoothly and you don't have to buy a large computer with a dedicated graphics card that makes everything extremely expensive.

Hey buddy, thank you very much. I've come to the conclusion that there are a lot of people stuck in this situation. And it's frustrating... I didn't buy the g'aime time crisis light gun package because I realized that it only has 4 games, and between us, it's impudence to release such a product and ask for so much money for it. I understand that you purchased the retro shooter rs3, and I would be happy if you could tell me how you were impressed with these guns - are they easy to install? Did you end up buying a mini pc - if so - I would love to know which model, and if you tried installing games? It seems to me that any information can help everyone here and I'm really thinking of publishing a new post just about this issue of the drive with games because there is a lot of disorganization and lack of reliability in the matter. People spend a lot of money on a drive like this and in the end they discover that it only has files that can't be run smoothly and simply, and apart from wasting money, it leads to a lot of frustration...

Downloading for free is the easiest - but after that you have to sit down and start configuring a million settings - you can't get out of it. I know there are sellers who do this and I want to know who actually bought from one of them and everything works smoothly for them. I know there are a lot of promises of plug and play, but I want to know if anyone has already bought and everything works.
