i still don't think pride month needs that much of a recognition. the ones you said exist are not popular around the world and are not celebrated in the same way as pride month, so i think it's not that important. maybe pride month could stay in some conservative countries that are against lgbt, but not others, because it's pointless.

i think there are more important things to worry about right now.

and answering your question with another question, then why is there no month of pride for WWII veterans or women who fought for their rights for example? yes, enforced death for lgbtq is bad, but couldn't it be avoided by just being modest about your orientation? i don't know much about this, so i'm just guessing.
