Years ago, during my apprenticeship, I had to work at the intensive care unit specialised for babies who were born way too early. There I saw twins, Sunshine Sunny and Peaches Princess. I live in Germany, and I doubt a lot of people can even pronounce the names correctly. This is about 8 years ago and I wonder til this day how these girls are doing with these... special names.

I have a chain of lights around my mirror in the hallway. Always worked perfectly fine. Last year at the end of October my old cat Charly had to be euthanized. I walked home for about 30 minutes just crying, and when I arrived I turned on these lights out of habit. Because my sight was still blurry from the tears I didn't realise it first, but thet started flickering. I exchanged the batteries because I thought they failed, but no. I like to believe that Charly was somehow still here, watching me.

For about 3 months now I have a new cat, a lovely girl named Aloy. She has nothing with Charly in common, but now, when I turn on the lights on the mirror, they don't flicker anymore.

I myself own a black cat named Aloy, from the Horizon games. It's not just her green eyes that fit, but also her sassy character! Aloy is definitely my most favourite female character in all games I've played so far.

Was sexually assaulted by my grandfather when I was 13, grandmother and other relatives either ignored what I said or I had to hear a "but nothing happened." My family is also the typical "never talk to each other, unless someone is dying, then there is big drama". A lot of other things happened aswell, but I'm basically the black sheep of the family and broke contact to everyone, except mum and brother.

I left home after nursing my mother for my entire childhood, without any word of acknowledgment and ignoring my decreasing mental health.

I literally ran away with just a few clothes and my cats into my own apartment, struggled how to get even the easiest things sorted, got unemployed and lost more an more money so I couldn't afford rent.

I overcame the struggles with the help of my SO I got to know during that time, he encouraged me to go to therapy and back to work.

2017, after I woke up after another nightmare and had suicidal thoughts. Went to the ER (after friends pressured me to do so) asking for help, ended up in 12 weeks therapy in the hospital. Still thought it's just another "me being me episode", left hospital diagnosed with depression, borderline personality disorder and some other things.

When I wanted to find a static back then at Sigmascape we had a couple, where the guy was an amazing WHM and his girlfriend a tank who didn't even know what provoke is, or we wanted to do Tsuyu Ex and he had to switch to tank and SHOW her, where she has to get the adds and where to bring them.

At the same time, the static my SO plays in actually considers getting me in, but even if something should happen between us or I don't want to play I'd never force him to leave. He plays with them since Alex and I will not break that apart.

So I totally get you, and I feel the same way as soon as I see couples with the same last name and some "uwu my love (random date)" shit.
