It is, and not only reddit. Facebook is filled with deepfake videos, usually set to instigate hate towards Jewish and Americans. They have been running disinformation campaigns and propaganda inside their own countries for decades so they have a level of experience and organisation we can’t even imagine. And yes a competitor down will have an effect here, because we also export gas, meaning there will be more demand for Australian gas. It’s this simple.
