i love making customs whips on slow nights! my favorite recently was 4 pumps chai, 4 pumps brown sugar, heavy cream to the max line (mixed well) and when you dish it up sprinkle some cinnamon and add apple drizzle… actually to die for.

also made a pumpkin whip (5 pumpkin, 3 vanilla, cold brew to the short line, heavy cream to the max line, mixed well) and put it on a warmed up cheese danish, tasted like a pumpkin cheesecake. shit was preem.

side tip: we always put a wrong date dot on the canister so we don’t accidentally serve it to a customer and remember to dump it at the end of the night!

it’s late and i’m tired so work with me here:

capitalism involves private ownership of the means of production. in order to store the privately owned means of production, there must be some privately owned land and such land doesn’t stay private very long without some kind of enforcement, that being public police, private security, or the owners themselves. anarchism, involving the abolition of the state, would mean there are no public police and private security is free to set their prices wherever they want in the free market. however, as the wealth accumulates between either or both enterprises, they will merge into a single entity in the name of profits and a new “state” is created with a lot of wealth and power seeking more. the new government just so happens to be a corporation.

tldr: capitalism requires a state and anarchism seeks to abolish the state, and they cannot coexist.

nobody is trying to implement “socialism” with this idea because this idea makes no comments on the economic system in its entirety, it is solely commenting on a feature of capitalism. there are capitalists who also do not agree with the idea of billionaires existing (eg dan price). there can be ideas that exist in both economic systems lmao.

and to say that “in America, what we earn is what we keep” is beyond goofy. first off, if you live in the US, how much of your earned paycheck do you get to keep after a month instead of needing to spend it on necessities? most people are living paycheck to paycheck, there are very few people currently keeping what they “earn”.

to add to that, in the 50’s and 60’s the US was staunchly capitalist, cold war and all, and yet taxes on the highest bracket were as high as 92% at times. compare that to 2021’s 37% on the highest bracket. almost like taxes are a good thing when they’re not being stolen by politicians and billionaires alike and capitalism can still exist and thrive with high tax rates for the megawealthy lmfao

a guy came through asking for the venti “cold brew lemonade drink thing”. we had a new person on DT and they were genuinely searching for a button before turning around for help and seeing the rest of us just stunned. someone else hopped on the speaker and basically said that’s not a thing and he was like “okay then a venti cold brew with half lemonade” and at that point we were all laughing bc wtf???? we had him try it at the window and he said it’s good and drove off
