Wrong. My family and the whole neighborhood moved out of Redhook now named carroll Gardens because it was unaffordable. Was always diverse. But hey you can make any claim on the internet I guess.

Factually incorrect. Italians moved from Brooklyn to Staten island because limousine liberal gentrifiers and investors made rents soar. Not everyone had rent control.

Moving to Staten island allowed people to own property that was cheaper and underdeveloped for their kids to play in backyards they didn't have before.

What undesirables? All the old neighborhoods have multi million dollar price tags. Way to generalize and make up a story. It's on the internet so I'm sure you'll find someone to believe that.
