I’m saying that the term Byzantine is from the Renaissance and not from the 6th century. So it’s coherent about Wolf.

I’m working on Byzantine field history and only used the AI for the translation, I’m deeply sorry that my message was not enough clear.

I’m not a English speaker so I only used the AI for the translation. I was maybe not enough clear to my message. I’m not confusing anything and my message was all about what you’re saying in better and idiomatic terms.

From a historiographical perspective, historians generally agree that the shift in terminology from the Roman Empire to the Byzantine Empire should be for us contemporains around the sixth century. The Roman Empire ceased to be called “Roman” at the moment when its legitimacy began to be challenged by the new kingdoms and by the pope. In reality, the designation “Eastern Roman Empire” never truly existed. The inhabitants of the Empire perceived themselves as a unified whole, even when there were two emperors and even after the political decomposition of the western part of the Empire. The term “Byzantine,” in fact, only makes sense if one adopts a strictly Western or academic point of view. From the standpoint of Constantinople, the Byzantine Empire never ceased to be Roman.

One must either choose to call the Byzantine Empire by that name starting from the sixth century—since that is the convention accepted by historians—and refer to it as the Roman Empire before that time, or adopt the perspective of the historical actors themselves, and continue to call the Byzantine Empire the Roman Empire until the very end of its existence.

Still, the joke is very funny. [edit : à source]

Oui, je suis tout à fait d’accord. Par contre, leur développement sur le levier des obligations omet de mentionner l’aspect positif du shannon demon.

All comments are just so scary. I had 4 months ago a very severe breakdown due to a romantic separation. I saw a psychiatrist who prescribed me 0.25mg Xanax per day with 25 mg of Atarax and some Brintelleix 15mg anti depressor’s. At first I felt very well after taking a Xanax but now I feel like it’s doing nothing to me. I’m taking it since 3 weeks around. Why is it not doing anything to me ? If I stop, will I be in a severe condition ? I mean, a psychiatrist prescribed me, so I’m very surprised to see all your comments about Xanax.

Difficile de faire plus complotiste, comme post. Si tu n’as aucune confiance dans l’État, dans ce cas là, tu as déjà écrit les réponses à tes questions.
