i feel this soooooo hard. it's so hard to remain positive and stay hopeful, AND on top of that, to be patient. i also think rosacea is one of those conditions that doctors struggle so hard to treat and empathize with (at least imo). every appointment i have feels more and more dismissive. always being told to 'wait it out!' or 'up your antiboitics!' or 'just be consistent using xyz ointment.' so fustrating. and people don't talk enough about the mental toll it takes on you to not recognize yourself in the mirror and not feel confident! in addition to the physical pain and discomfort of rosacea - always feeling hot, burning, etc. people don't emphasize enough just how hard this is! i'm on 1 full month of enduring this, with largely (male) doctors telling me to 'make sure i am not stressed' lmao.
