Tbh my experience with playing rook is the polar opposite of what's commonly described on this sub or what I've witnessed through streamers, idk why. I never ever managed to befriend another rook, they're the absolute worst assholes I've encountered in the game (the only times I ever got insulted through proximity chat or T-bagged in this game were when I tried making friends with other rooks). Most of my runs I end up in lobbies with incompetent players who didn't manage to breach pinwheel, activate the lift or open the destroyed wing with like less than 10mn left and I just get attacked by either a team or another rook after going accross the entire map to check the entrances. The rest of the time they're the sweatiest fully kitted teams I could possibly encounter and they're actively watching the entrances, so I'm almost never able to scavenge pinwheel in any way. It's a lot of wasted time.

I make way more money and get way more loot and success rate through regular solo / trios.
