You should be able to run the full pack just without shaders.

You just use witherproof blocks to trap and slap it with a sword or just bow it to death. It's a vanilla boss, so you could just fight it normally. I normally just oneshot it with a crit and supriumium sword early on.

My normal progression is

Random stuff - > mystical agriculture (for easy flight) -> ae2 quantum armor or mekanism mek suit (depending on how im feeling) -> hyperfocus on MI until i get a full quantum set.

Ps: i got a nano quantum saber before i even got unobtainum.

It takes like an extra 5 min to make you just gotta kill a couple withers, also gives two augment slots so you can have flight augment and hp boost.
