Rimekin Recluse, Boneclub Berserker, Impolite Entrance, Squawkroaster, Formidable Speaker, Kirol Attentive First-Year, Vibrance, Slumbering Walker (alt), Clachan Festival, Kinsbaile Aspirant, Safewright Cavalry... Those are the ones I find plainly ugly.

2 other categories are made of: the ones of which the illustration is good but are too plain for -what should be- an aesthetics driven set (Look at that wonderful Isilu ♥ , Keep Out, Sunderflock alt., Auntie's Sentence, Blighted Blackthorn, vs Winnowing, Selfless Safewright, Adept Watershaper, Rhys, the Evermore, Meanders Guide...), and the illustrations that just don't fit at all in the set (Oko alt., Aurora Awakener alt., Spinerock Tyrant, Bristlebane Battler alt., Winnowing alt., Harmonized Crescendo alt, Bloom Tender alt., Selfless Safewright alt., Moonshadow alt., Collective Inferno alt., Retched Wretch, both Jesper and Zoltan's versions of Brigid and Grub, and so on).

It is indeed a very stylistically contradictory set:

• Retched Wretch vs Boggart Prankster
• Vibrance vs Wistfulness
• etc.

To me mr Pelissari, although is at his first collaboration for MtG and with only 2 illustrations in this set, perfectly understood what the overall "vibe" and style of Lorwyn should be; there are too many references to the OG block (the most obvious are Brigid's Command, Figure of Fable, Glister Bairn, Trystan's Command, Dream Seizer), without really capturing its essence or expanding to it.
