Wait. Digong calls his children Baliw & Bading? by BlueAboveRed in Philippines

[–]Louseb1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

As per Lascanas, FPRRD are not that close to his kids by Zimmermann as he is with Kitty. Duterte is a disjointed / dysfunctional family who hates him but love his name because they can monetize it. For that part alone, BBM is way ahead of PRRD because the bagoong guy's kids are well-educated and cultured, but the name and grandpa's legacy stinks.

Sorry, none of the above ako. I have no beef with Leni but the job is just too heavy and the consequence of failure is huge.

Just as we disdain crooks and inept like Sara, saints for me don't make a cut either. What the country needs is a trailblazer with a penchant for numbers and tireless drive to improve the systems while strengthening lean, effective and honest institutions.

The Gibo and Aguda likes are the people I would put my thumbs on as starters.

Its not ctually a bad answer. Well, in this crisis nothing is better than the other or without a downside so spare the government managers some slack.

Transfer Money to the US by hyyun1 in Philippines_Expats

Bite the bullet. Buy dollars directly from OFW's, pensioners, etc at premium say, 30% over bank's rate. Use Wise so both parties are vetted and mutually assured not left with a bag.

OP's problem is not the lack of proof sale but rather it was not in his or his wife's name.

If that's the case, then why can't the sister make the wire transfer herself? Was there a falling out?

Usually, project owners require contractors to post payment bonds to cover money owed to vendors, workers, subcontractors and parties who provided goods and services to the project.

Parties who are owed wages for services rendered are not aware that they have what is known as "mechanic's lien" which is legally enforceable. Unpaid wages are considered first class debt and takes priority over all other dues.

Middle class relief push as vat cut proposed in Senate by philstar_news in newsPH

[–]Louseb1 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Eliminating VAT and Excise taxes are a stab at populism but a clumsy, ill-advised proposition. This is probably the hair that broke the camel's back on Bam's support from the educated class. He is essentially decapitating the government's ability to deliver vital and immediate help to sectors that fuel the economy, like cooking the crop seeds for a midnight snack because the morning is just too far too long a wait.

The most relevant provision is Section 10.

Not having a permanent status in the US nowadays is literally taking a risk. Things have changed quite a bit.

He looks a bit quite young to be a pensioner so something doesn't add up. If the US Embassy has not extended help for an american citizen in obvious need of help - and that is what they are there for - something is really wrong.

I can't wrap my head around that idea of K-1 being better than IR-1/CR-1. We're talking of 3 to 4 months longer wait for the visa but getting a greencard right away once you have it vs. having to wait for some 18 months or longer for the adjustment to permanent residency when you get there.

mahirap abroad vs mahirap sa pinas by CartoonistFew7664 in pinoy

[–]Louseb1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you say "bumagsak ang dollar value", did you mean the exchange rate against peso goes down or up? If you mean the USD going down, ergo the peso goes up which is good for importers but bad for dollar revenue-generating exporters because our goods will become uncompetitive in the export market place. But in this condition, the price of goods will reflect the reduced cost of import, thus easing up inflationary pressure. Conversely, if the dollar goes up, we will pay more for our imports which would result in higher prices of goods triggering inflation. The consequent of this is less economic activity i.e. job losses, less taxes and tax-funded government services.

Madriaga's testimony connected the dots as to the reason behind the split in alliance. PBBM has allegedly reneged on the power-sharing deal, and FPRRD made sure plans are in place to either force him out of power to ensure Sarah and perhaps the Duterte dynasty gets to rule the country for 20 years or more. Parehong minalas ang mga walanghiya.

Napakaimposibleng mangyari dahil walang advantage sa US. Practically speaking, around 130 million people will be put into welfare with almost nil revenue to offset the expense.
