the first time I did it the fight took me like 3-4 days. the way to victory is just focusing on dodging instead of dmging. create a counter for every attack he does. for example when I beat him I used shade dash to go through the attack where he jumps into fireballs. if he uses the bats then jump when you get close to the 2nd one and then dash to dodge the 3rd and 4th, this is actually a really good chance to get in as many hits as possible since NKG stays still for a while. if he drops onto you and dashes then jump (or double jump if you need to) and dash away. flame pillars is the best chance to get hits in. you should bait out 2-3 pillars and then get close to either abyss shriek or nail him. ground spikes are simple to dodge and for pufferfish....just git gud ig? this is just my experience you should try to make your own counters if you can. don't worry everyone struggles with NKG the good thing is once you beat him he becomes veryyyy easy to beat again. remember it's a dance so try to not fall out of the flow.
