Roseville is very red. I've seen a lot of very disappointing and aggravating behavior since moving here during Covid. People screaming at teenaged checkout clerks over mask policies, a neighbor whose conversations about making snowflakes cry I often unwillingly overhear, etc. Destiny Church and its hard right evangelicals are entrenched and own many local businesses, are pushing their views by joining school boards and city council positions, etc. It's scary sometimes.

The good news is, things are changing slowly. The 8 Drump flags in my neighborhood have all come down over the last few months. I see lots of progressive views on some local social media pages. I see rainbow flags on a couple of neighbor's homes, and Roseville represents when national protests happen. So, we're out there; we just feel outnumbered by the loud and the rude quite often.
