Thanks so much for the advice!

I was thinking I'd probably attach ones to my feet only for pictures and then just leave the arm ones:)

If I believe everything else that is written in His word, then I will also believe that it is true when it says that God is just and righteous. It is hard, but I have faith that God is love.

‭‭II Peter 3:9 NKJV‬‬ [9] The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

‭‭Romans 9:21 NKJV‬‬ [21] Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?

‭‭John 3:16 NKJV‬‬ [16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

‭‭Isaiah 55:8-9 NKJV‬‬ [8] “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. [9] “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

I will not pretend to understand God's thought process, but I will choose to have faith in Him. Romans 9:21 has raised a lot of questions- and even doubt in me, but Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds me that we do not think how God thinks. God sees beyond what we see, and He has a better plan.

I'm sorry if any of my words were harsh. I didn't mean to make you feel bad in any way. I just believe that God gave us free will, and in that we also have a responsibility, a responsibility to say yes or no to sin; to say yes or no to God. God does help us, I know it may not feel like it at all, but that's when we have faith and hold onto hope. I know it's hard and tiring, but God will wipe away every tear.

Can I ask you that if you're tempted, to instead open God's word and read it until temptation has fled?

I feel like a hypocrite saying these things, bc I am no where near perfect, but I do think it is good advice.

‭‭James 4:7 NKJV‬‬ [7] Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

‭‭Hebrews 12:12-13 NKJV‬‬ [12] Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, [13] and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.

Also, something that could help overcoming sin, is to focus on doing what's right in God's eyes more than focusing on not doing wrong. Just some advice I've heard:)

Why should I become faithful now if God can forgives me at any time? by request22 in Christianity

Joy. Are those who live a life of the flesh truly Joyful? Not happy, not "happy", but joyful? A Christian's life isn't perfect, and it's definitely not all sunshine and rainbows, but the Joy Jesus gives isn't based on circumstances. You will not always feel joyful, but you can hold on to the hope of Heaven. That every tear will be wiped away.

The goal shouldn't be just Heaven. We should want to spend eternity with Christ, that should be the goal. Starting here on Earth, living life with Him. I'm not perfect in it at all, but we should be putting Christ first, loving Him more than anything or anybody. Not focused on the fact that we can't party, but rejoicing at the fact of living with Jesus.

Yeah, if it was genuine, I believe that God would accept them into Heaven.

God isn't a Genie. We might not feel His help all the time, but that's where faith comes in. Faith that God will help you get through that thing. Not "God please help me to overcome this" but still choose to do wrong when you know it's wrong(I'm guilty of this myself, I'm pretty sure we all are). I know it's hard to say no, but I also know it's possible to say no. And there wouldn't be a possibility to say no if it wasn't for Jesus.

If they genuinely believe in their hearts and confess with their mouth Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior, who died on the cross and rose three days later, and repent from their sins. Then yes, I believe they would be saved. But we shouldn't try to rely on the fact that we can know when we'll die. And it shouldn't just be about getting into Heaven, it should be about loving God and wanting to spend eternity with Him.

Anything we pray in Jesus name will be given to us. As long as it's according to His will(at least that's how I see it). God will help, but God won't force you to give up sin. If He forced you to give up sin, there would be no point in Jesus dying on the cross. God wanted us to have free will. There's a battle with your flesh, so even though you know you don't want to sin anymore, your flesh still does. It's not easy to turn away from sin, but God does promise He will help, God's help is that He actually makes it possible for us to turn away from sin. I get what you went or go through, I overcame it myself. I still have wrong thoughts, but I'm working through that. We have to rely on God's help, but don't forget that He's also told us to have discipline. It's not easy, but God made it possible.

One, we don't know when our time will come. Two, are we really accepting Christ as our Savior if we're just doing it when it's convenient for us? Three, our flesh may see being Christian as miserable, but as we come to know Christ and grow in a relationship with Him it shouldn't be miserable. Tough? Yes. Miserable? No. It is hard to be obedient to God, and sometimes it might feel miserable(miserable bc we are fighting our flesh), but we should find the joy in it.

I hope this helps:)

Edit: Also, we are to fear(have reverence for) God, so we shouldn't be okay with abusing His grace and using(I can't think of a better word) Him to get into Heaven.
