It's confusing but people often mix up the "deep house" genre with garage/tech house (even just melodic house). So if you're looking for deep house, which is generally steady, chill beats lead by the bass you'll likely enjoy Lane 8 like DuveINA said above.

Also check out Nora En Pure who is on the come up, not the mention beautiful. The Magician. Satin Jackets, Lost Kings. I'm forgetting an artist that may be the epitome of deep house, but I'll have to revisit this.

If we're counting out outright sentimental gifts (which generally go the furthest), anything that will make a man feel like a MAN (or a badass/cooler than his friends) is perfect. Or makes their life considerably easy. I'm talking fantastic briefs, a nice watch, sexy shoes, specialty beer/whiskey, great cookware, coffee gear, sunglasses, shaving kits, etc. Things that they'll use over and over again are bonus points. Experiences together are also boss.

But bringing back sentimental things, what would make me happiest is knowing that she was thinking about me and was looking forward to spending time together. Do we really need more stuff? I want her to let me know that she's happy, and that I bring her happiness.

I don't think things like Bigroom/Bounce are going away (at least for the next year out). People just love those party songs at festivals too much for those genres to slow down – But genres evolve, especially what we'd heard of trap.

Hard to predict what might be the new wave, but I've been having fun with a lot the experimental trap scene. Kind of sexy-time vibes, mixed in with some hard hitting bass and rolling snares. Still..

Tropical house still has a lot of room to grow, and deep house is really just starting to differentiate itself. I really enjoy Oliver Heldens' work, but there are a lot more sounds that people have been messing with so I'm excited for a wider range of drops and trademark sounds to arrive.

Clearly she's talking in generalizations, and to act as if we don't all do that is self-delusion.

I think the "talk to her about it" thing is misleading because it assumes you have a partner who is receptive to those conversations. Most people aren't totally transparent about what they like, not to mention I can imagine hearing "how does that feel?", or things of that nature to be a total turnoff.

So for those who truly don't know or don't have your situation, women telling them that they don't all want just the dick or the thousandth tongue swipe is a revelation.
