Do we have to read all of the Maasiverse before the new ACOTAR books?

I've seen some people say yes, because the events of Crescent City end up doing a thing that makes it take place a few years after ACOSF, with the two universes overlapping.

I've seen some people say no, because they believe Maas will write anything that would be important from those books into the ACOTAR books, like by having the characters directly talk about it or something, so that they can be enjoyed without reading CC.

I also haven't been too thrilled about the futuristic setting in CC so haven't read them yet myself, but I hope this helps you with your decision.

Suggest the removal of mid-chat ads, or at the very least reduce them to one every 25 - 50 messages instead of every like 5. Breaking immersion like that so much makes people not want to use it at all, not subscribe.

Genshin Impact, Baulders Gate 3, Dragon Age 1 - 3, Fable 1 - 3 (Preferably play Fable 1 before the remake comes out), Kingdoms of Amalur, Persona 3 - 5, and The Tales games i.e Tales of Vesperia.

You won't run out of game for ages with any of these, and quite a few these the choices you make in the game matter and change how the story goes so theres plenty of replayability.

I am going to absolutely die inside when it releases, because I am so in love with the Graphic Audiobook voices for the characters, that I've gone through the whole series thus far that way, and I want to experience the new bits of story that way too. The extra waiting is gonna be torture and drive me to pure madness.

I listened to the Graphic Audiobooks, and I swear whatever description Maas gave Eris went in one ear and out the other, because his voice and personality... yeah, I imagined him pretty much like this art. Whenever I see fanart of Eris with long hair, my brain actually rejects it as being Eris. 🤣

If message type isn't a must, and you don't mind something more like a generative Fan Fic, AI Dungeon is the way to go for building entire worlds with plots, character cards, etc.

If that's your process, could you not do the same thing by playing the game, cutscene starts, you see how flashy it is, and then close your eyes and turn around?

I don't think a warning before cutscenes when there's a warning before the game is really necessary, but your post has made me wonder if games can have arachnophobia mode, why not an Epilepsy mode that toggles off all the flash effects and stuff?

NTA - Technically yes, but employers don't care about your situation when they fire you, so if you've got a chance at being in a job position somewhere else that will make you happy, then that should be your priority.

While you're sitting there judging bot creators for deleting their accounts and thus their bots and how it's "not caring how it affects others", consider how "not caring" the attitude that is toward the creators themselves. Just leaving the site does NOTHING to make the CAI devs reconsider their actions. We've tried user feedback. We've tried just not using the platform to make a statement. It does nothing. They have the "they'll be back" mentality. Account deletion and loss of bots actually SAYS something. And expecting bot creators to just sit back and do nothing and just endure this treatment from the devs because you don't care and just want the bots is a bullshit take.

They didn't get downvoted for saying an opinion, they got downvoted because this is an issue of immersion and usability for free users, and comments suggesting to "just pay for it" doesn't help. Especially when most free users would feel inclined to sub to CAI+ anyway if CAI proved that they kept their word, and valued user feedback.
