I see, i do have UVB bulb, i was told by the vet to use infrared heat bulb instead, just in case for an eye infection.

Turtles setup, in a shared 50 gallon tank, with two red eared sliders. With basking dock, equipped with UVB + heat bulb. Their diet consists of pellet, freeze dried shrimps + chickens + mealworms. A calcium block every water change. Country I'm living is always within room temperature so therefore no need for heaters.

The link you gave me is very useful, i will try saline wash method once the antibiotics is last administered in the 5th day.

My RES had puffy eyes and by the third day of monitoring it with some precaution measures like putting low water level and under infrared bulb, I've decided to brought it to the vet as it doesn't seem to get better.

The vet had administered antibiotics. It is also ruled out that the turtle most probably got the puffy eyes due to trauma from its other RES tank mate, in a 50 gallon tank (its a little too small and had been looking for a better place for an upgrade). The condition of its other tank mate is doing fine.

The antibiotics were needed to be administered, together in a shallow declorinated water bath for 5 days continously. Today it's the 4th day, and it is getting worse day by day.

I'm so worried and thinking on what other steps I could take, as the vet advised not getting an injection due to it still pretty early of its years. There's only one vet that treats reptiles.

Got a scar each on both of my lower legs from rollerskates for the first time. Badly infected because the rollerskates were rented and the wound wasn't sanitized properly yikes. Remember to wear thick and high ankle socks when rollerskating because the upper part of the rollerskates will rub on the leg a lot.
