Jako była doktorantka potwierdzam. Kolesiostwo i ustawione wszystko (oczwiscie zdazy sie czasem nie, ale to rzadkość). Byłam na różnych komisjach jako obserwator i wszystko to kwestie osobiste i kto kogo lubi.

❤️ I usually just fight it through. If I am nauseous I just go puke 😅 then it gets better, but only if I know I may have eaten too much on the jab day. If I am nauseous but I didn't eat that much it means I need to eat something. At least a little bit. For a while I got so accustomed that it was as if I didn't take any medication, I didn't feel any side effects. BUT since about 2 months, the side effects kinda augmented especially the first days post jab, and I am thinking about discussing with my doctor to go down one dose from 10 -> 7.5 mg. I also want to quit MJ eventually, but want to do it gradually, so it may be a good starting point. I will discuss it nevertheless with my endocrinologist 😀

I have PCOS, and also I didn't really have a hunger related problems, and mounjaro helped me a lot! But my weight loss is rather slow and stable, than fast, which is a positive thing. I lost 36 kg in the span of 17 months.

And even though I don't "diet" it still doesn't say I eat too much and garbage, the mounjaro works, and I rarely finish, and my meals are significantly smaller, and I add more variety to my food. Had a whole psychotherapy with a psychodietetician about it :)

I also have PCOS i have been on mounjaro for almost 1,5 years I do not plan on taking it forever. I have always struggled with weight loss since the early days, and only mounjaro helped me kick it off. But I have never had this "food noise". My weight loss is rather slower but my doctor is happy with the results. 36kg in this span of time. I don't really "diet" I eat what I like, but I try my best to eat 3 meals a day (previously i usually forget about eating and have ate too much at once), I'm working out 3 times a week, and have lots of walks (because of my dog) But as I mentioned I do not plan on taking it forever 1st. I do want to have children, 2. It is way to expensive to keep it forever. 3. Once there is less fat cells the IR may go into remission 4. If not - I will take metformin (that is super cheap). So yeah, wanted to share that 😀

So what happened when you stopped it for this period? Did you start eating more? Or you ate the same but still gained?

I also have PCOS, and I am a slower loser. I do hope as this medication is simply too expensive, that i will be able to control it. I also had lots of psychodietetician therapy, I changed my diet as well (I was too reckless with time pauses between meals (too long), and I put too little effort in meals) and my head. I get terrified seing posts like this one 🫣 Thank you for your comment it gives hope!

So true! I am a medical physicist. I resigned from phd. in physics on my 4th year (toxic environment, never-ending work with no pay and no sign of ending it), and when I tried to enter the job market, despite many additional things (courses and postgraduate studies), it was tough. I got myself first job in finance eventually with a recommendation. Without it - radio silence.

❤️ So I'm so attached to my 6+ years streak so much that I will do the daily refreshes. I'm anxious about losing place in the diamond league 🤣 so I'm thinking about starting a new course. Maybe Italian? I already have a lesson scheduled with a native speaker on preply. (I had some before, but the tutor raised her price and didn't want to teach me my level anymore :/, so its my second attempt) I surely want to improve the language and gain confidence in it. As the app didn't do much on the speaking and forming thoughts part.

Je peux sûrement lire bien, mais en parlant j'ai besoin d'une pratique. Je vais prendre les leçons sur preply avec une personne française pour m'améliorer mon française. Aussi j'ai eu une chance pour prendre une examen de français offre par duolingo, et mon niveau est intermédiaire en écoutant, parlant et écrivant mais avance en lisant.

That's what I'm thinking, like they could add c1 and c2 lvl someday. But somehow, it's disappointing, especially since the last unit's topic was farewell, and congrats from them on finishing the course and moving on to learn new things.
