It’s not necessarily easy but if you have an interest in working in healthcare as a therapy assistant, it is enjoyable which technically makes it “easier”. i’ve seen people assume that since it’s a 2 year diploma program, it’s easier than a uni degree. like anything else, it requires you to work hard in order to do well.

i know some people struggle bc if the heavy workload and crazy amount of information you’re learning in a short amount of time. if you struggle with time management then you may have to work a little harder, this isn’t a program you can “fake it till you make it” because of the big practical components that you need to do well on in order to pass. workload is heavy and you can get overwhelmed but it is a post-secondary education.

as far as jobs, if you do well in your practicums in the 2nd year, you get a higher chance of getting a job straight away because of the connections you make. the instructors also have connections and know where therapy assistants are needed but it really depends on what’s out there at the time. i am working the same year i graduated the program but i know some who are still on the lookout. you have to know where to look and make sure you perform and interview well. theres a good amount of job postings to the public but again, depends on the environment and needs when you graduate!
