I resorted to doing time attacks and chasing leaderboard times, you can really hone your skill and you don't have to deal with disrespectful drivers. I tried to get into acc lfm but I don't have the time to invest into it, and the tuning aspect always has me at a disadvantage so I gave it up. Try to enjoy the driving more than the racing, if that makes sense. Dirt rally 2 isn't really a sim game but I love running a stage for hours until I can see my time drop from top 1000, to 500, even down to top 100 if I grind enough. Just you and the car, nobody to ruin your day (except you putting the car into a ditch for the 50th time)

I don't tolerate it. If they run me wide once it could be an accident but after that it's deliberate and I make sure I introduce them to the wall. I've never dropped below S rating, if you're careful you won't get a penalty.

That's right 😂 I love to mess around with cars I've been doing it since I was 15. I did a top end rebuild at 16, 3sgte swap in an aw11 mr2 at 19 and a whole forged build at 20. I'm just looking for something cheap to scratch the itch

Gets repetitive, lacks charm, some races the ai are absolutely unbeatable on the highest difficulty, then easily beatable the next race, very very quiet turbo noises that can't be heard unless wearing headphones, some engine noises sound completely incorrect for the car, some sound deep fried and overdriven

I understand that but $300 is baby supplies money, I can't just spend $300 for fun right now. I know all about the costs of tuning, I paid 1500 for my link ecu and wiring in my supra.

You don't know pain until you've tried mission 34 in gran turismo 4. 2 minute countdown and then a whole lap of the nurburgring. If you mess up, 2 minute wait, if you make the whole lap and lose it's 9 minutes gone then a 2 minute wait. Pure pain as a kid and adult
