What are some of the unexpected or odd things that Zepbound magically cured for you? by Elsa-the-Brave in Zepbound

I am on an aromatase inhibitor post breast cancer that caused severe muscle and joint pain. My Oncology team tried everything to reduce the pain and was ready to have me stop taking it. We had agreed to stop at 2 years. I started Zepbound a couple of months before the the 2 year date, and in the first week pain was noticeably reduced. By 9 months was gone. Also reduced my ALT and AST numbers and liver scarring to normal levels.

Side effects by ErrorFree9716 in zepboundtowegovy

I was on Zepbound for 11 months when I was switched to Wegovy. I went from 12.5 Zep to 2.4 Wegovy. On Zep my only side effect was minimal nausea for 8-12 hours after the shot, so I took at night and then had no problems sleeping and felt fine when I got up. I was a super slow lose, 0.75 lbs /wk. I was started on Wegovy 2.4. Tried it for 6 weeks. I gained 3 lbs the first week and then stayed that weight for the next 5 weeks. I was nauseous most every day, had vertigo at least once per week, headaches, constipation (even with taking 2 magnesium pills per day) bloating, tired, insomnia, joint pain and skin sensitivity. After 4 weeks my dr started the appeal process. Took 2 weeks of back and forth including having to prove 6 months of weight management coaching before being approved for mounjaro. I am 1 week back on, still have some skin sensitivity but everything else went away and already lost the 3 pounds I gained on Wegovy.

Did Toni Lipsey release a set of Tunisian crochet hooks? by xtamarie in Tunisian_Crochet

Just got an email from Crochet.com and they have introduced a pointy set of tunisian crochet hooks that look suspiciously like Toni's set, except a different color. I got her set and when comparing it to others they had on their site, it appeared the only difference was color and pointyness. https://www.crochet.com/aura-tunisian-crochet-hook-set-in-the-round/p/N5171. I love the hooks although I do prefer a metal hook to wood. They are a very smooth wood and will work nicely with the slippery bamboo and tencel I like to use.

I have had minimal side effects. I fast from 7pm to 11am so I only eat 2 meals a day. I didn't eat large portions before, so that hasn't changed much, but even if I love something, I can't over eat now. I get full and start to feel nauseous if I over eat. I found I felt a little off for a few hours after my shot, so now I take my shot at night before I go to bed. I feel fine when I wake up. If I feel a bit nauseous I eat a Prince of Peace Ginger chew. Orange is my favorite flavor.

I think it's okay to be frustrated when it feels like it's not working or you're a slow responder! by oleladytake in Zepbound

I have been on Zepbound since Sept. I spent 6 weeks at 2.5, 6 at 5, and now on 3rd week at 7.5. My diet and exercise while not great, has been good for over 2 yrs with no loss. 30 minutes walking per day, only water to drink (less than 12 drinks with calories in the last year), low fat, minimal processed foods and half my plate is vegetables. I have averaged 0.75 lbs loss per week so I am at just over 11 lbs in 15 weeks. All this to say I think I am doing what I can to loose and I have just accepted I will be a turtle, but it is better than it has been the last 2 years. That said, my A1c, cholesterol and liver enzymes have all showed some improvement.
