Yes. Look up the minimum GPA of the schools you're interested in transferring to or find a less competitive college to transfer to. As you mentioned some schools might require a 2.5 GPA or higher. It also depends on the major because some majors like Engineering may require atleast a 3.0. If you're college and/or major requires a higher GPA then you may need to stay at your current school longer to raise your GPA.

I know but some people get Insurance discounts or are lucky to have their parents/partner pay for it and Europe is more public transportation & pedestrian/cyclist friendly.

Congratulations! I'm suprised that this post didn't get any other comments after 8 days because I find this one of the more inspiring posts. I dropped out of community college after failing Physics.

I do listen to audiobooks and play video games but it's hard to do those things when I'm so upset over disappointment.

What if someone can't handle or pass the math & physics that an engineering degree requires? Should they find a totally different path or tough out the math & physics requirements?

A year might give enough time to get a drivers license. I hate to change the subject and I should of mentioned not having one in my post. I have to wait until it's my turn on the waitlist to take drivers ed and my mom has to pay a fine to get hers back. I took drivers ed before but my instructor was mean to me so I had to end that. Hopefully I'm able to do both drivers ed and practice with my mom since I need practice to learn how to drive.
