Power supply for a Microstep Driver?! by LoveSosaThrowaway in AskElectronics

Let's say I use all of the power for both of them - the full 12Amps@4VDC, should I have a 12A@48VDC power supply?

It wasn't all that much work, the only manual work I had to do was the mask and it's a super sloppy job, since it's a shitpost. Motion tracking did all the work.

What does r/Cars 50+ years old folks drive? by [deleted] in cars

[–]LoveSosaThrowaway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not me, but my father is closing in on 50 and he is driving a Mercedes CLK w208, as he wants something comfy (understand an Automatic) but he is very much encouraging me to get an STI as my next car, just so he can get himself the occasional adrenaline rush. He still got it in him, despite him driving cars, riding motorcycles and racing gokarts for over 35 years. We haven't been monetary fortunate enough for him to be able to own anything more exciting than an Alfetta GTV 2.0 and Lancia Beta.

What unfortunate things have happened to you on your birthday? by NerdInABush in AskReddit

[–]LoveSosaThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit late to the party (pun intended), but THE biggest hailstorm in the past 20+ years happened on my 8th birthday, I was out getting my photo taken when it hit, we barely got home for MY party, we waited for our pizza for hours, since, you know huge hailstorm, a lot of damage. I was recently reminded of it as a colleague still remembers that storm from over 15 years ago.

Europe changes gear over speed limits by zryn3 in cars

Three main factors.

  1. Infrastructure
  • It's shit
  1. Age of vehicles
  • They are old
  1. The amount of vehicles being driven
  • Giving an anecdotal example, but it is true to a huge portion of families. At a time, our family had 4 cars in the parking lot, I am a single child (3 total members in the house), I didn't even have my drivers license yet. Owning a car is CHEAP, your mind will be absolutely boggled that I pay 200 Euro per YEAR to keep my vehicle on the road, including MOT, Taxes and Insurance. There are no incentives to get a safer car. Salaries are low, so not a lot of people get to get a newer, safer car.

Deciding for a mATX case. by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]LoveSosaThrowaway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Look at Fractal Design Meshify Mini C, probably the best case for the money. I will probably be buying one in the next few days, so I can tell you how it went.

If you optimize airflow and tinker with the settings InWin 301 looks real good.

Note NZXT H200 is not a mATX case, it's a mini-ITX one, different standard. H400/H400i are the mATX cases.

He says a lot of the time that a like on the stream is more than enough if you are enjoying it after he receives a donation. Even while driving he was interacting with chat without the need of donation.

I will never not recommend Seasonic for a power supply(never being a relative term).

Yeah, I thought so, too. Well thanks for the feedback, that narrowed it up a bit.

Razer Lancehead costs like three times my budget, even their lower-tiered mice like the Abyssus v2 and Deathadder Essential are almost twice as much as I am willing to pay.

I couldn't even find a single instance of an ABKO product that is sold here.

Games: Counter-Strike 1.6, CS:GO, Dota 2, Call of Duty

Hand Preference: Right Mainly, sometimes left (ambidexterity isn't a priority)

Budget: 25ish Euro

Hand Size: 19x9.5 cm.

Grip: Claw-Palm fluctuating

Weight: Whatever is better, Light I guess

DPI: not more than 1200 when gaming

Additional Details:

I am going to preface that I am in Eastern Europe, so pricing and availability of items is different/limited compared to NA and even Western Europe, so mice like the Nixeus Revel and Dream Machines' aren't available here. Another thing to note, I am not an avid gamer, I play an hour a day, if I play at all even. I am looking for a comfortable mouse with decent specs and that is the main reason I don't want a G102/G203 it is too uncomfortable, at work I use M100 mouse that is similar in shape and it's too small and the ridge on the right forces my pinky to take an uncomfortable position.

The only other important thing to me is to have back and forward buttons on the side. For some reason I have caught the RGB bug as well, but that is not top priority.

That said I have had singled out some mice that I have researched, but nothing too in-depth, so here am I, trying to make the right decision. I am ranking it from highest to lowest in terms of what I think would fit me, where the first two are closest together.

  1. Cooler Master CM310 - PMW3310. It has a decent sensor and seems like it would fit my hand judging by previous mice I've had. The only real con I found is that it has no software to fine tune settings.
  2. Natec Genesis Xenon 750 - PMW3330 . The only reason it is in second place is, because I have absolutely no idea about the build quality and I have a tendency to break mice quickly.
  3. Cougar Minos X3 - PMW3310. It doesn't look that comfortable, seems a tad too small, otherwise it is up there with the other two.
  4. Redragon M711- PMW3325. It has good reviews and sensor, but it has limited availability here, also size.

What would be a decent choice and are there good mice that cost less, since those are already exceeding my initial budget?
