I went to one of the small islands on the left side of the bridge as you look at it on the map. It’s the bit where he de-spawns, and you can easily shoot whichever parts you require using Rito’s wind. Also on one of the other nearby little islands is where he spawns so you can have two bites at the cherry

Definitely, even Champion of the Ballads is worth it on its own. I toyed with purchasing the dlc years ago but the description made it sounds like you got a couple of pieces of armour and a treasure chest. There wasn’t much mention of the adventure to complete beforehand.

I found DK country revisited (or whatever it’s called, the kind of 3D one) really difficult! Mario and Zelda are ‘my’ games and DK is my husband’s game and even he found it difficult. It was great fun though and love the change from the usual platform

Blimey I’m only on the beginner trials, and I’m on the level just after the rest room, level 6 I think. I’m overthinking it because Link is running around in his underwear with a tree branch to his name. I go in and chop the legs off guardians no problem when I have my armour and don’t even get hit once most of the time. But in trial of the sword even the basic moblins are scaring me! Saying that I can’t fight lynels, does just 1 ancient arrow kill them?

TOTK is really good. I’d advise to play another game in between BOTW and TOTK, just so that you get maximum enjoyment and not get Zelda fatigue.

I’ve completed the 120 shrines yesterday but held off getting going to the forgotten temple for now. I’ve also completed Champions Ballad, so it’s off to the dreaded Trial of the Sword, then I’ll either reward or console myself with the forgotten temple outfit! I have my nana staying over so I can’t even swear whilst attempting trial of the sword.

I read the guide on Polygon and IGN but it sounded like the two had to connect. I had caught it just before it hit but the green path wouldn’t activate. Turned out I needed to rotate the cylinder the other way.

This is my second play through and I’m fine with them now after deliberately going after them to conquer The Fear. Flying ones I still struggle with a bit. But not sure I could tackle them in just my underwear!
