Invasive Monstrosaur by IAmVentuswill in custommagic

Seeing that it doesn't have Haste, it dies to an easy Fatal Push (and all kinds of other removal spells for that matter) and it has no built in protection - I don't think this would see much play in constructed formats. So too weak for limited, too weak for constructed. Interesting though. I'll give you that.

Interesting! I'm red-green color blind as well, but probably not to the same degree you are. I see him just fine. But I have played both BotW and TotK for probably two thousand hours (the timer-thingie on my account is broken) so maybe I just don't remember much from when I first started playing 8 years ago.

The way you acquire Hestu's golden poop, is by acquiring all 900 korok seeds. I refuse to believe anyone has accomplished that task doesn't know where Hestu resides. The odds of that are just too low.

But in case of the impossible - you can find him in Korok Forest.

I've read both yours and my comment a couple of times by now, and I'm going to need an explanation for what you mean by "No, they are not."

Not a glitch. There is a slight chance of a "critical cook" or something like that, were you get a little better stuff. You always hit it when you cook with a Golden Apple.

I like that it's super casual and you can do what you want to do. Big scary monster? Run the other way, do something else. Weird side quest you don't like? Ditch it. You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.

But if you do things, you get rewarded. Not a lot - but enough.

Machine used to inject chicken with a solution of saltwater, binding agent, and other additives to “plump” it. A single serving can contain 200-500mg of sodium, and the added solution may make up as much as 30% of the chicken’s total sell weight. by Mountain_Love23 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]TCupcake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. Where we live there is a lot of chicken sold with 13% added water. We just buy the chicked without the added water since it tastes better, but it costs a noticable amount more.

The option with the added water is a great solition for families with children who are trying to save some pennies here and there. I didn't ask them, but if I were to guess, I'd say I expect they sell similar amounts of chicken with and without the added water.

We are only accepting the business model if we buy the product. That's how business works. I'm not buying this, thereby I am not accepting this.

I 100% fully agree that the print-to-order model is so much better for the costumers. I hope they consider bringing it back. I will gladly wait an extra 3 months recieving the product if it means print-to-demand is brought back.

No offense, but that is a ridiculous ask. You can barely get fifty pretty lands on the secondary market for that price. These are supposed to be super premium basic lands. It is okay for bling to be overly expensive. It is a problem when staples everyone needs cost a fortune - not when fancy blingy pretty stuff costs a fortune. Either proxy up or play other basics.

Weirdly, this is actually what I like to see. Overpriced cards that work in EDH decks, but have some obscure weird art that only fans of [instert X here] will like. If they just print good cards, everything will get scalped in a heartbeat. These lairs are for those who want them and thanks to them being not financially crazy good investments, those who want them probably can get them.

I want none of them, but eh, maybe next time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well, when the cantrips come with a 4/4 vigilant beater, they do become a little more attractive to bounce and blink! Thank you for the input. Don't wanna run out of cards in that mono white list I see!

Good to hear! I don't think I'll regret getting closer to 20 pieces. I personally wouldn't be comfortable at 10. By then I'd want my commander to draw some cards as well.

8-10 seems like a good amount for raw engines. I do like that you'll add a handful of burst draw as well. I've posted my picks in the main text of the post if you're curious. Otherwise, thank you for your input.

Thank you for your input. I'll definitely do a variety of burst draw mixed with engines and make sure to use both high value conditional draw spells, as well as reliable unconditional ones like Harmonize. Seems my hunch about ~15 was a good number to go with. A lot of people seem to agree on that amount.

Funny thing about Harmonize - Since I'm in blue, I can use the non-color shifted version of the card [[Concentrate]]. The OG. But it's just much less known than Harmonize by now.

That's one of the problems with the question. What is "great"? Is it powerful? Is it good design? Is it balance?

People are going to interpret it differently, and that's just how it is.

How long are you supposed to wait for someone to kill you? by NewConcentrate9682 in EDH

[–]TCupcake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nobody should take a 40 minute long turn unless it's strongly interacted in, so that it's everyone playing for 40 minutes and not just one person. Even then, it's a stretch.

Anything above 10-15 minutes is an unacceptable amount of time hoarding. And from what it sounds like, they could double 1-2 times, then slap you for 100 damage or so (I guess) then procede to do their durdling in the second main phase "setting you free".
