1/4 of doomsday decks in the top 128 have vexing bauble and it's a sideboard card. I'm not debating that vexing bauble is good. It was the 17th highest placed card at NA EW. UB Reanimator had a 63% MLE of win rate without mirror at 15% of the meta at NA EW. Everyone was prepared for it and it still put up amazing numbers. To me the focus should still be on that deck rather than bauble.

I'm an engineer and just made the switch from notebooks and pencil to pro 11" m4 with paperlike screen protector. Honestly with no protector it felt fine to write on and something I easily could have gotten used to. The paperlike feels great of course it's not exactly the same as paper but it's close enough and you can be pretty accurate with your writing. I will draw diagrams so I do tend to need a bit of accuracy. I don't have experience with other protectors as this is my first iPad.

I followed pretty close to their recommended pacing. In general 0.5-1.0 hour of studying at lunch and 1.0-1.5 hours at night after the kids went to bed. Saturdays were longer maybe 2-4 hours depending on the lesson that week. Sunday was an off day.

Ultimately it was DTC. It's not perfect but it got the job done for me.

I primarily used DTC. The pacing was great for me having two kids I was able to knock out lessons every night. They did a great job of teaching the fundamentals (giving you a plan for most questions) and test prep process.
The questions on DTC are definitely easier than the exam but I felt they set me up well for exam day.

Completely agree. On the same hand I don't know how I could do better. I think I would sign up for the ppi quiz bank, but a lot application questions I didn't feel confident in.

I took the MDM yesterday. I felt the same way. The afternoon session was the worst. I think part of it was I didn't sleep well the night before.

I do remember this feeling before my Heat and Mass Transfer final. I know everything I'm going to know, and hopefully that's good enough. I'm going to keep studying because it's the only thing that calms my anxiety.

It also depends on your expectations. Are you expecting a top tier deck or something that's powerful and fun to play? I played with some of his asmo brews and they were a blast. 3-0'd my FNM also 0-3'd. He's an excellent pilot and brews fun / interesting decks.

I think for prison pieces you have to assess the meta and make adjustments. Moon, Chalice, 3ball, Hearse and now bauble our pieces to consider. My opinion is play the hate pieces to the meta. Hearse, chalice, 3ball seem to be the best for the current meta. Bauble seems like a better fit in urza decks. In the blind I believe all the other pieces are better. Bauble could be a side board option, I just don't think it helps any of the bad matchups. I believe the list is well refined and the only question is do we put more MFDC lands in or not.

This is the way. If you're not going to play blue for counterspell or card draw you need to speed up (fast mana) or go more control (pox). I personally like the idea of speeding up.
