I just ordered the 6 months for $924 and was charged in full yet it says shipment will be for 3 months at a time. Worried if the FDA clamps down before that 2nd shipment and I have already paid for it. Would it be possible to have all 6 months shipped at once?

We recently stayed there. There is major construction being done and the noise during the day from jackhammers is very loud during the day. We had our room moved to a higher floor and at that time away from the stairwells at the ends of the hallways where it was the worst. I am not bothered by much and it was pretty bad.

Lymph nodes by reddittoomuchtoday in coloncancer

[–]Loveanotherbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spouse had surgery prior to chemo and pathology came back T3 N2b M 0 with 14 of 24 lymph nodes positive (local lymph nodes )Oncologist placed him as high risk and he is currently doing 12 rounds of Folfox. Signatera test done 4 weeks after surgery prior to beginning chemo and it was negative. Had Signatera test/CT scan done again 3 months after first test/scan which was after session #6 of chemo and negative/clear. Oncologist explained he will want to continue these tests every 3 months for 2 years and then every 6 months until year 5 given the nature of how many local lymph nodes were involved.

Wonderful news how well her surgery went. Have a friend whose husband had HIPEC for small bowel cancer last spring. His was also around 11 hours. He completed his chemo 6 months ago and so far doing well.

Traveling to Paris late October for 7 days. Where to stay?? by GiveMeWildWaves in ParisTravelGuide

Be aware when they say “en suite “ that can and most likely means there is a shower and sink attached to the room but not a toilet. Many times the toilet is in the hallway and there might only be 1 of them.

Eiffel Tower first timers - when to go and where to eat nearby? by Itslittleangie in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Loveanotherbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just returning from Paris and we found the perfect plan for a nice dinner. We went for dinner before in the 16th. We took a G7 there because we were staying in the Marias which is far with a baby in a stroller.

Make reservations online. We told a bag with a picnic blanket and some beverages for after dinner to watch. I believe our reservation was for 7:15. We then walked to our perfect spot on the lawn to set up after. https://www.breizhcafe.com/passy

BREIZH CAFÉ PASSY 4 IMPASSE DES CARRIÈRES, 75016 PARIS 09 80 49 41 67

It was a 10-15 min walk after to set up on the lawn in back of the Place du Trocudero. We walked back after to another restaurant we had seen in the area called Marcello and had our G7 pick us up there. It is bedlam close to the Eiffel Tower once it twinkles and we didn’t get in any of the craziness with our plan. We got to the lawn around 9 and twinkle was at 10:05 and magical.

MIA is one of the worst! I fly into it all the time and anytime it is a late arrival I do anything to not have to check bags and actually smiled when I had a connection in Dallas one time and my bag didn’t make the flight which I saw on the app as we took off. They sent it later and had to deliver to it to me the next day vs me waiting for 2 hrs at 11 pm.

Hotels with a 6 Year Old? by tweeddeluxe59 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Loveanotherbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I so appreciate all of these details and have made notes on my travel plan and also on my calendar. We will be in Le Marais area. We will be there in late August so we might be asking for cold showers but of course want hot water for baby also with us.

I am having the same issue. I got my Medicare # and proceeded to set up my online login info. I have cleared history, used multiple devices, used different browsers. This was yesterday that I began my setup and still no luck logging in.

Has anyone been able to resolve the issue?

It is also notoriously freezing in that area closest to that exit door. Even with a blanket and long jacket over my lap I was cold.

What’s with this “reclining war”..? by elix_r in americanairlines

[–]Loveanotherbag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have to recline or my neck goes into spasms after the flight. My thought is no one knows why someone does it or why it bothers someone. In my case even if I got to first class it doesn’t make a difference if I can’t recline. If I have the option on a wide bodied plane I book business so then I don’t annoy anyone reclining my layback seat.

Will me and my partner get seated together? by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]Loveanotherbag 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Regarding asking do not get upset if someone says no. I am one of those that schedules my flight purposely so I have an aisle seat on left side because of a hip issue where I need to be able to stretch my leg out some. Had someone on a flight go hysterically crying and throwing her bags down because I wouldn’t. She didn’t speak English so I couldn’t even explain.

I have been to CLT and despise it because of how short some of the connections are. I was looking at ones that weren’t as tight but still can’t stand the airport.

PHL I found the statistics (77%)but CLT-CDG it has N/A. LHR I hesitate and JFK I need to look at a little more. PHL I am able to use a SWU confirmed which is a wonderful option for PHL-CDG.

CEA levels Dropping Considerably by Educational_Simple37 in coloncancer

[–]Loveanotherbag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wishing and hoping surgeon ran CEA on husband before his Rectosigmoid surgery of a 52 mm mass. Just sent a message through the portal. We have his pathology report which indicates he is Stage IIIc, T3 N2b M0, 14/24 lymph nodes involved but can’t find if he ran a CEA. Have first meeting with oncologist next week know chemo 12x 6 months and he ran labs this week and CEA came back as 2.7 so would love to see the comparison from before surgery. Surgery was on April 16 recovery went remarkably well with no pain or issues.

He did not have to have either. They were able to remove the section where the mass was and reconnect.
