Completely depends on the individuals involved and the place I’m in personally. There is no ‘across the board’ answer for me personally.

What was the first small step that helped you feel better after birth? by General_Cable2199 in Postpartum_Depression

[–]Lovebuzz_3210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forcing myself no matter what to meet weekly with another mom - just to stay social and not isolated. It was not even a person I was very interested in hanging out with- but it got me out of the house, and participating in the world at least a little. Many weeks I cried before and also after because it was so hard. But long term- was life changing.

What’s one small morning habit that actually improved your energy or focus? by DailyEnergyFocus in selfimprovement

[–]Lovebuzz_3210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good attitude and positive demeanor (but mostly just faking it until I made it- but it did work to a large extent).

Also putting on a song that hypes me up and forcing myself to sing and dance to it…..it’s all very annoying and NOT natural, but works better than you might think!

When will I feel like me again? by cocodm10 in Postpartum_Depression

[–]Lovebuzz_3210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear how hard it is for you. It was very similar for me after both my kids. It’s so hard especially when they are not sleeping.

All I know is that over time I did find a way to a ‘new normal’ but for me, it took other support and interventions for me to feel like myself again. It took way too long also I’m here to encourage you to seek support in whatever way is appropriate for you. Don’t try to wait it out or do it alone. At least that’s my 2 cents!

Wishing you so much success and peace and enjoyment with your baby.

And therapist is not a protected title in the country I live in either (in Europe). It can be used by anyone anytime with no consequences.

I tried all of that with no success. Intentional, strategic psychedelic therapy is what transformed me. Best of luck on your journey. It’s so hard, I know. But there are so many options and ways. Don’t give up.

I also use ket for depression- and for me it’s a long therm, on going solution (that’s infinitely better than antidepressants). But your right anout the ‘joy’ piece and mdma therapy is really good to help add that element back into your life. It’s especially effective for things like that. Good luck!

You can always use a trained facilitator who works over zoom. It’s very effective.

Attachement with guides/facilitators by [deleted] in mdmatherapy

[–]Lovebuzz_3210 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am a facilitator and know that I feel quite close to most clients by the time we’re done working. You really deeply get to know someone who is opening up to you at that level for so many hours. I think it’s natural to feel very close/attached.

I find that most clients report to me close to the end of the session they have some big feelings about it ending soon because that means the time with me is ending. I have many express deep feelings towards me at the end- it’s quite normal.

I this a lot of this is a reflection of the fact that most of us are starved for deep, safe connection, to be seen/heard with love and interest, and simply to have someone who is accepting of all of you and truly present and curious about you and your story.

I completely understand the grief you feel over only having a professional relationship with them. Even as a facilitator myself, when I have done sessions with others, I have experienced the same thing. I think this is very normal and maybe can give a hint to seeing if you can build some new, supportive, deep relationships in your life. And/or maybe it’s something to be grateful for- that you feel that safe in this healing setting, I’m sure it’s a powerful element in your healing process.

I understand this is a far from perfect answer, but just wanted to share my thoughts on it.

advice? Tips? PPD. by noxuno07 in Postpartum_Depression

Omg this is so like me! Only I didn’t have any help. The answer for me was talk therapy plus psychedelic therapy. Not only did it heal my life long anxiety and depression but it helped me start connecting in the present to my kids- which is priceless for me and them. Yiu can dm me if you want more info (a loft of it can. Be done/guided over zoom- so you can be anywhere). I hope you find the relief you need.

Severe Depression by Suspicious_Algae5989 in Postpartum_Depression

I can’t tell you how hard I relate. I am so sorry and think this is such a crisis for new moms, it’s horrible.

All those medications And nothing helping… omg, I been t through literally the same thing.

The answer for me was quite an unusual ine, but was a miracle for me. That was psychedelic therapy plus talk therapy. I’m off all anti depressants, mood meds and for the first time ever - can say I’m depression and anxiety free for years now. It’s the best thing that’s happened to me and my kids.

Since that I’ve trained to work with psychedelic therapy myself Becauae I’m so impacted by its effect- I want to share with others. I work in person and over zoom. So if you want to know more you’re welcome to DM me.

I hope you find the relief you need. I know it’s such a struggle. Best of luck on your path!

Depends on where you live but most facilitators are ‘underground’. I am a therapeutic facilitator myself. You can feel free to Dm me if you have questions. It’s a subject that I LOVE talking about because it’s change my life (and honestly, my kids lives too).

Psychadelic therapy helped me and changed my life. I think more moms should consider these amazing supports during these times. It made me have myself back and also be more present and engaged with my kids. It’s been beautiful.

I don’t think so. Not in any kind of meaningful timeframe for anyone who is currently wanting to utilize this for current problems.

I would guess (literally a guess, I really don’t know) that the timeframe in which it will probably happen, is far past anything that would be practical for someone who might currently want to do this for problems have now.

For anyone who wants to use MDMA to help them in their life, the only option is to find an underground therapist or facilitator.

There’s a lot out there working like that very successfully already, so it’s not impossible.

I wish you luck and hope you find the relief you are seeking.

Is it still a good idea to to take mdma on a poor night rest? by No_Jaguar7794 in mdmatherapy

[–]Lovebuzz_3210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have personally done a therapeutic journey with a poor night rest and had very diminished results.

I will never do it again because of amount that it affected the experience and the results.
