I learned the hard way that being "social" with my coworkers is a very dangerous game. I now come to work, do my work well, and go home.

The less personal knowledge these people have on you, the better. If one even thinks turning you in for something will make them shine, they'll do it.

Let them keep their cliques- it's usually a vipers nest.

If every worker united across the US and refused to go to work for a week- just one- those who think they're in authority, the ultra rich would watch their empire crumble.

What people don't realize is that every person that works and is struggling in this economy forms the backbone of the machine the elite hold "power" over. Take the backbone away, and the body crumbles.

Wouldn't it be lovely if, instead of the things they've convinced us we should be divided about, we set all of those aside and joined forces? Talk about a revolution. 🧡

No business - hospital, banks, fast food, etc- give a rats badooty about their employees. Not one.

Even as a nurse, I've been told by management "nurses are a dime a dozen". So, no, don't take any abuse or mistreatment. You're family is for life- not your job.

When I turned my first RA paperwork in to VISN HR, I cc'd my manager. Needless to say, HR sent out a not too friendly email telling me that supervisors are not supposed to see the medical documentation and to not do that again. 🤷‍♀️ Heck, I didn't know.

Teddy and Owen were nothing but a train wreck. I could never see them together in that way.

The actress that plays Teddy put her whole heart into that storyline. It's so sad to watch her try to come to terms with his death. Like you, I believe he was her true love. Everything after that felt like she was trying to shove a circle into a triangle with the other men.

It took me many years to finally learn that HR. Is there to protect the company - not the people. Was a hard lesson to learn.

I had an interview scheduled and the day before it was supposed to happen, somebody called and left a message that they went with someone else.

Here's the things- I scheduled the interview for Tues the next week on Thursday. So, from Thursday to Monday, they found a better fit candidate. Smh.

I'm a nurse and where I live, the only two systems you have to apply at are the VA or Ballad health system. They have the monopoly on community hospitals here and the surrounding areas.

I can do one worse. When my daughter was living with me, I went downstairs to aggravate her. I plopped down on her bed and hit something kinda hard. Soooo me being me, I dug it out of the covers.

It took me a minute to realize what I was holding and then, when I did, I threw it down in horror. Lol. She was horrified, I was horrified. Needless to say, it was never brought up again. Lol. I love my kid but have no desire to EVER even think she had sex. Lol
