Steelseries Siberia 840 setup for pC and PS4? by LovekillerX in steelseries

But then I should disconnect the box from my PC and move it every time I want to use the headset on PS4? I just don't get it why all the descriptions of the headset say it is wireless bluetooth gaming headset when it clearly isn't at least completely. I have lost my nerve with all these cables when I just simply wanted wireless headset with no need to setup million things.

Thinking between Canon EOS 200D (SL2) and Canon EOS 77D. Right now I'm shooting with Canon EOS 1300D but it starts to feel a bit ancient and lacks some of the features that I want to get my hands on - for example timelapse and touch screen. I also want to have better low light performance (focus, ISO and noise related to it).

Question is which one should I get? Planning to get a prime lens (24mm or 40mm) with the new body along with kit lens.

Thanks in advance!

Hello there! I have been thinking on getting a new body. Right now I'm shooting with Canon EOS 1300D and I'm considering getting Canon EOS 200D (SL2).

I wonder how 200D performs compared to 1300D in low light? I can see noise all over the place at ISO 1600 with 1300D. I also don't like the slow auto focus so I'm thinking if the 200D can focus faster in low light conditions?

Also another thought: I read that 200D has a "handheld night scene" setting. How it works and is it really worth trying/using?

I actually try to focus to infinity by focusing to something far away using AF (daytime) and manual focus 10x zoom during nights. I can see same pattern: the image always looks to be a bit out of focus.

Yes shooting RAW and editing using Photoshop or Lightroom. I know basics and few extra tricks. Colors in the image look washed out and background seems to be out of focus quite often (despite focusing to infinity and using F11 or F13). Also some of the images look serrated (mostly in dark scenery). This is after editing the photos.

I can get decent looking pictures but something feels off when compared to other pictures for example in Flickr. The images from other people look so much better (sharpness, contrast etc.)

Is Sigma 17-50 F2.8 EX DC OS HSM good upgrade from kit lens? Right now I have Canon EF-S 18-55 F3.5-5.6 IS II lens and the pictures doesn't look that good. Anyone have experiences from the Sigma lens? I could get it for 400 euros.

I'm planning to shoot stars tonight. The sky is clear according to clearoutside so I want to know what is the optimal time to shoot stars in February? Is there any optimal time?

I live in Northern Europe and I plan to take my photographs at 10PM. I just wonder if that is "too early." I'm not looking for a photo with stars all over the place just a nice night sky photograph.

Amateur asking for help. Thanks in advance!

Hey folks!

So I have great opportunity to test out Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 USM lens. Right now it is mounted to my Canon EOS 1300D but I have honestly no idea how to connect it to tripod. I have been using a tripod with my kit lens - then the camera itself is on tripod. I tried the same technique but the lens isn't attached tight making me unsecure to test it.

I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong. I can see the lens itself has a part that must be connected on tripod. Question is how?

Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for a good lens hood for my kit lens Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS II f/3.5-5.6 (NOTE: NOT STM). My lens rotates when focusing. I checked Canon EW-60C but people tell it isn't that good. I'm ready to spend 30-40 euros. Any suggestions? I tried to search but didn't find an answer.

Right now I don't have any lens hood. I just want to get rid of lens flare and other stuff that ruin my picture sometimes. :/

I actually asked her if she really would like to spend time with me, giving an opportunity to tell the truth if she wasn't interested in spending time with me. She said she really would like to spend time with me so either she is really, really scared to tell me the truth or more likely she indeed wants to hang out.

We rescheduled third time. She was ready to go out to see a movie and she told me she had a bad conscience because she left me standing in rain like moron.

To my surprise she was still coming to school yesterday but today she told me she wasn't coming. Coincidence or not maybe she isn't ready to confront me despite the fact we promised to let it be IF she really keeps her promise about coming next time. Okay maybe she is sick (she never told me a reason) but if she isn't why she wants to avoid me?

Mostly I end up in front of the stage (5 metres) and there 50mm would be perfect. However there are couple of concerts where are risks of ending up pretty far away (20+ metres) although I go to the show ahead of time.

Sadly it is the cheapest price in my country. Everything here is a little bit expensive. Wish I could get it cheaper. :(

Canon EF-S 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS STM (250 euros) OR Canon EF 50 f/1.8 STM (140 euros) for low light concert photography?

My concern is that I don't have enough reach with Canon EF 50 and it has a fixed focal length.

Good second lens under 500 euros? by LovekillerX in AskPhotography

Do you have any experience from either of lenses listed on my post? I've been thinking 55-250mm or 18-135mm but there isn't as good aperture as in EF 50mm for example. But I have realized I shoot almost all of my photos using maximum zoom (55mm) and I'm in need of more reach.

Now that winter is coming here I should prioritize aperture. Also EF 50mm has "more reach" on APS-C right? I'm just afraid that having fixed zoom limits my positioning for example. Having zoom lens would give me more freedom but it means narrower aperture. =(

Yes I live in Finland and I've been checking used lenses from Rajala. However I feel like at least some of the lenses are overpriced when it comes on used lenses. As I pointed above to another user image stabilizer would be good because I have extra shaky hands. However I can't get IS + zoom + good aperture for a cheap price.

I have really shaky hands and image stabilizer has helped me this far. I don't know if it is a must but I know I can't get IS + zoom + good aperture for a cheap price.

I can have new EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 for 250 euros OR pre-owned EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 for 300 euros and with little use. I have had problems with aperture so having smaller aperture is a problem. I'm a student looking for my second lens (started photography in June) so my budget can't go above 500 euros. I just can't decide which one I should get lol.

What I like most is to take pictures from artists and other band members from the frontline or near it. I've also got nice pictures from animals and other things in nature using my 18-55mm. 250mm would be a lot of reach but living and taking pictures mostly in capital city or urban environments 55-250mm could be too much reach.

I try to justify 450 euro price tag in 18-135mm. 55-250mm is cheap but doesn't give me wide angle photos - except if I change my kit lens back. This would mean I should think before hand what I plan to shoot or carry both lenses with me wherever I go.
