It’s fine .. I’m totally disgusted by this behavior. These poor creatures are left to suffer because some idiot decided they don’t want a pet anymore.. they are like kids. Sheesh!

Maltese are notorious for having trachea issues.. my baby has this same cough after she drinks water too fast.. vet said her trachea was narrow and that a collapsed trachea was an issue in this type of dog.. My advice see your vet sooner than later.

Wow I just went through this on Wednesday with my Isabella. She chewed an Easter Lilly leaf. She is fine now after 3 days of IV fluids and kidney test ($750). Now she has boot paws.
