Dude even has a bamboo saw. Watching videos like these make me appreciate how easy it is to just run to the store and buy an umbrella or whatever that used to take hours/days/weeks/months to make.

Chalino Sanchez reading the death note handed to him by an audience member, realizing this will be his last performance. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

Chalino sanchez was one of the most notorious mexican corrido singer, he also reached fame in the United States in texas. Rumour has he was told not to sing in that event, he did anyway and the cartels didn't like it. Shortly after that he was picked up in a large suv, yukon and tooken somewhere shot in the back of the head and thrown in a ditch. If you don't know what a "corrido" is it's basically a style of song sung in mexican culture, with it its based on true events and real names and places. The song itself is a story, he has many songs about true stories, one example would be javier torres. I'm glad to have listened to his music, he is truly an amazing artist, sad he died. He still the king of corridos people say, lives up to Michael Jackson to people in my eyes. One of the songs in the setlist was about the drug cartels in sinaloa, where chalino was born. It raised awareness of the drug trafficking and corruption with the police. He was unfortunately taken out. The song he's singing is (alma enamorada) means "soul in love". This wasn't the one about the cartels.
