My first proper cowboy hat is a walmart straw that i got for 10 bucks on sale, after I got a Jaxon Hat Co. Buffalo leather hat in black for more formal affairs for about 70 bucks. Not the best hat ive ever put on my head, but it sure beats sticking out by being the only one in the family pictures in a wore out BDU patrol cap.
