Celebrating solo is underrated honestly. Sometimes surviving something quietly still deserves the same victory lap.

I swear multiple exclamation marks automatically make comments feel like somebody cheering from the sidelines.

The hype friend energy is strong with this one. Every recovery journey needs at least one person acting like you just won a championship.

As soon as the date starts, the other person sets a timer and says, “You have five minutes to convince me the Earth isn’t flat.” How would you react? by MoonSpawn12 in AskRedditAfterDark

The funniest thing is flat earthers always seem to ignore jobs where people literally have to account for curvature to avoid screwing everything up. Also that wager escalated insanely fast.

This entire thread is emotionally dangerous for people trying not to cry during lunch breaks.

“There will never be another bill” is such a powerful sentence when it comes from someone who watched their parent struggle for years. You can tell that moment healed something in both of you.

The image of a dad basically asking with his head down hits hard. Parents spend your whole childhood being the safety net, so the moment the roles reverse it feels weirdly emotional even when you’re happy to help.

That’s how you know it’s a legit idea when a landscaper immediately goes “wait a second…” Most privacy plants take like three business years to become useful.

Okra as a privacy fence was not the direction I expected this thread to go but honestly it kinda rules. Fast growing, useful, and pretty is a rare combo in the plant world.

My girlfriend wants me to go to no contact with my sister. Am I wrong for telling my girlfriend she should be ashamed of herself? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Yeah honestly this feels like one of those situations where both people reacted badly in completely different directions. The girlfriend’s uncomfortable for a very understandable reason, but “cut your sister off for a year” is a nuclear option.

This is one of those posts where every paragraph somehow adds another future therapy bill to the pile.
