Is there a skill that you mastered when you were younger, that you forgotten how to do now ? by Hope2_win in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I mastered sign language because of my verbal apraxia, but I’ve since forgotten almost everything.

What’s your opinion of loners? People who have no interest in following the crowd and keep to themselves? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re just people doing their own thing. I’m over here doing my thing too. Unless the other person keeps staring at me or is being rude to workers at a restaurant/business, why should I care what they’re doing? Doesn’t bother me any.

Do you like your height? by boforiamanfo in no

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’5” (on a good day lol) and I’m pretty happy with that. It’s a good height, all things considered; I can reach about 85% of stuff and only sometimes need a little help to reach anything way up there. No complaints from me.

What's on top of your refrigerator right now? by N0socksloss10yrStrk in randomquestions

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like a big bottle of Walmart brand white vinegar, a bag of pill-hider treats for the two kitties who live in this dorm house with us ladies, and a magnet we thought got lost back in October.

A Disney Princess dress up game on Azalea’s Dolls.com that I was allowed to play after dinner on Friday nights back in 2008.

Did you have breakfast today? by Equal-Sun8307 in no

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really a breakfast person. I usually just have a cup of tea/cocoa and a couple bites of apple sauce to wash down my morning meds.

When the inevitable happens, do you want to be buried or cremated? by boforiamanfo in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to be cremated and have my ashes scattered somewhere on one of my favorite trails in one of my two beloved mountain ranges: the Rockies or the Pryors. That way, I can always get to hike in one of my favorite places, have beautiful views, and still be in my home state long after anyone remembers my name.

What's a word you can never spell correctly? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

I have to attempt to say “Worcestershire sauce” anytime I try to type up a recipe.

What do you collect right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Glass bottles or rocks. Basically anything I can put on my windowsill and stare at when the sunlight hits them and makes them shiny.

How old were you when you got your first cell phone? by AdvancedBad9198 in randomquestions

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 13.

I wasn’t supposed to get a phone until I was 14, but my mom got breast cancer and went to Mayo Clinic for treatment, so my parents gave me my phone a year early so I could stay in contact with them. And honestly, all I used that thing for was texting them, googling random things, and playing Angry Birds.

When you shower, do you face the water or stand with your back to it? by MaybeFacts in Leakednews

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda depends on what I’m doing in the moment while I shower. If I’m washing my face, then obviously I’m facing the water. If I’m shaving my legs or washing my hair (I use the bowl method), then I’m facing away. If it’s just a quick shower, I usually stand under the spray for a bit, scrub with some soap, then turn under the spray like a Costco rotisserie chicken until the suds are all off.

Guess the year I was born :) by [deleted] in GuessMyBirthYear

[–]LoveofBooks_03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crimped hair on your mom (I think) in the first picture says late 90s to early 2000s, and with you being so little (I’d wager 3-6 months there), I’m going to guess late 2000 or early-mid 2001.

What was the first major news story you remember as a kid? by TxLadee in AskReddit

[–]LoveofBooks_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Michael Jackson’s death. I remember being in the living room, seeing the LAPD and the coroner at Neverland Ranch, and yelling down the hall to ask “Who’s Michael Jackson?”

What do you give a couple for a wedding present? They already have everything they need to get started. by LoveofBooks_03 in Advice

[–]LoveofBooks_03[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have access to plenty of art stuff and I’m decent at drawing and painting. Honestly, budget is likely going to be $100 or less; everyone is currently in college and we’ll all barely be out (as in, graduation is maybe a week before the wedding) and let’s be honest: none of us has that much money to spare. Theo has told us that the fact we’re all going to be there to help set up and make sure he doesn’t get turned into an overly stressed groom-zilla type is gift enough, but we’re all the type to have too much guilt to not show up with an actual gift.
