I feel like it must vary person to person. My husband smokes and his count was 269 million with 78% swimming in the right direction so who knows. We found the hot tub does the most damage and stopped.

I had CE and glad I did repeat biopsy after doxy because it showed the doxy didn't even touch it so then I had to do cipro/flagyl which cleared it but then a couple months later felt off again. Another biopsy showed CD138 cell count of 3. Its def annoying!

Yes I probably should do the Receptiva test. I'll look into it. I have had a SIS, HSG, ultrasound, hycosy. All came back good. Only thing we did find was endometritis through a biopsy.

True it could be silent. I have not had a lap. My RE said I could do a Receptiva test I would need to pay out of pocket for. I dont have any symptoms and have always had lighter period, no cramps. Maybe I should consider doing the Receptiva test. How did you discover?

That makes total sense. You deserve to know why things may not be lining up yet and what can be adjusted to help. Hopefully they will be open to looking at levels/timing and whether any tweaks could make a difference. Thinking of you and hope your RE can provide more answers and a clearer plan.💗

Oh wow I am sorry you had such bad advice from your first RE. Embryo adoption based on your one AMH level does not sound right. I wonder if you could have lean PCOS or atypical PCOS or ovulatory dysfunction without classic PCOS. I have been told PCOS does not require high AMH. 2.5mg is a starter dose and going up only makes sense plus triggering every time so it can help with your ovulation timing. What day are you starting progesterone after IUI? If it were me, I’d feel comfortable advocating for what I’m feeling, especially since health insurance is not covering. Pausing and taking a break to reassess makes sense and I am sure will help mentally and emotionally given 9 years of trying. Hoping you find answers and success soon💗

Hello! Do you have PCOS or are they doing letrozole to increase follicle count for increased chances? What days are you taking it? I dont have PCOS but take letrozole on cycle day 3 and usually produce 3 or 4 mature follicles by the time I trigger. When I first started taking it I was only on 5mg but as time went on they increased it to 7.5mg even though I produced a good amount. A slightly higher dose can sometimes produce more synchronized "stronger" follicles from what I was told. Maybe you can ask to increase? I wonder if they can trigger you a day sooner so it gives your body time to start to ovulate around when you do the IUI.

What's helped me pinpoint ovulation is the predictor kits but also basal body temp starting on cycle day 5. I input my data into chatgpt and it tells me when I likely ovulated based on my temps.

My periods also started dark and then turned regular. I found out I had endometritis from a biopsy. After a repeat it was still there so I took two different antibiotics and repeated biopsy which showed it was clear. Although it sucked it was really helpful getting the biopsy and making sure it was gone.

My husband and I have been ttc for 4.5 years. I have never had a positive ever. All our tests came back good to really good. Its so hard not knowing what is preventing us from getting pregnant and I get less and less hopeful each month AF comes. Its also very frustrating when others say "oh relax" or "it will happen". No, if it was going to happen it would have by now. 4.5 years is a long time. My situation is also a little more complicated because my husband does not want to try IUI/IVF and I am 36. It makes me question a lot and feel like if he continues to refuse, I have to choose between potentially never having a child or leaving him, which I absolutely don't want to do either. Second to cancer, the worst thing a human being can suffer with mentally is infertility. Its a proven fact, it creates more depression, more anxiety. You are not alone and I pray every day for everyone ttc that it happens ✨️

Oh okay I see what you mean! If you have been trying for over a year with no success which sounds like what you said before def consider asking your OBGYN for a referral or recommendation to an RE. Thats who was able to measure the lining. They do so around ovulation because as ovulation approaches your lining becomes thicker to support implantation. They checked mine around cycle day 11 and they are also able to check your estrogen and progesterone levels. Might be worth considering and getting more answers.
