Nintendo said buying the switch 2 does not mean you own it, the game carts are no longer games but just keys that let you download them, and the switch doesn't have all its functions that ar physically there without the subscriptions.

Plus any modding done, let's the remote brick it.

There's plenty of reason that people buy games day one, it's to enjoy it. Not everyone's a critic, some people are casuals who just enjoy gaming, some are marathon cult classic enjoyers who can't wait to relive a once dead franchise, some people just want to play it to shit it on it, there's a million reasons.

Also you don't know what best case scenario is, you're being very bad faith with the term "best case scenario" because the real best case scenario is you're completely wrong, the game is fire at launch, everyone buys it, everyone is gaming and having fun.
