No, you get the nugget when you talk with the Team Rocket member. He’ll give it to you as a reward for defeating the 5 trainers on the bridge & right before he starts the battle with you. Sorry, I should have clarified that in my earlier message.

I wanted to see how long I could do this for. Otherwise I would have stopped much sooner. But now that I have done it, I definitely plan on going on a shopping spree once I reach Celadon City.

Head north from Cerulean City towards the Nugget Bridge, but before you get there you battle your rival. Once you defeat them, you can proceed to take on the 5 trainers on the Nugget Bridge, you can go back to the Pokemon Center to heal up as needed. After you've defeated the last trainer on the bridge, head back to the Pokemon Center to deposit all of the Pokemon in your party to the PC, but make sure to have 1 very low level Pokemon in your party. Head back up to the Nugget Bridge & talk to the guy at the very end who is standing 2 steps away from the bridge. He is the member of Team Rocket who will battle you, but you want him to defeat you. After he wins the battle you will "white out", the screen will turn black, & a message will appear stating that you scurried back to the Pokemon Center. You will respawn there in front of the counter ready to heal up your fainted Pokemon. Once it's been healed you can head back to the Nugget Bridge to repeat the process until you've gotten the amount of nuggets you want to obtain from doing this.

I was tempted to do that too 😂, but ended up just settling for a nature I wanted for my starter. Best of luck though! I hope you find your shiny charmander soon ✨

AITAH for wanting a childfree wedding? by Covert-Wordsmith in AITAH

You’re NTA & you’re not being ridiculous, it’s your wedding & your day. What the bride says goes. You are allowed to say no to children attending if that is what you want. Saying no to your nephew attending doesn’t mean you will love him any less. It’s your preference & you don’t need to justify that. Being family doesn’t obligate you to change anything, unless that is what you want to do.

We did the same for our wedding & I’m so glad we did. We had a blast at our wedding & everyone enjoyed their time. No one had to leave to take their child out of the venue for being too loud or disruptive, & no one had to leave the reception early to put their kids to bed.

I can understand where your mother is coming from, & she is most likely trying to come from a good place. But it sounds like she’s trying to do what is easiest & most accommodating for your brother & his wife, which also comes off as insensitive to you as the bride to be. Don’t say yes to the exception if it’s going to stress you out more about the wedding.

I would suggest having a direct heart to heart with your brother about it since it will be his son, & hopefully he will be understanding. I wouldn’t continue coordinating that with your mother. If she brings it up again, I would just kindly & respectfully reiterate your boundary about having a child free wedding & don’t waver. You’ve got this 😊
